Weasel is killing me

Repeatedly getting the Weasel code. In settings, my connection looks good. Nat type open, good speeds, no packet loss

  • Whatever Bungie did in the latest patch messed up my connection with their servers. Before the 1.1.0 patch I got a lion or bee error once or twice a week. The game was playable. After the 1.1.0 patch I get weasel constantly. It varies in frequency but averages 3-4 times an hour. When the patch was first released I would get just weasel. Over the past day or two now I get a "bee" or "lion" error and then immediately after that notification the weasel error. I've reset my router and modem and that's as far as I'm willing to go. I have open NAT. As a consumer I should not have to factory reset my Xbox One or modify my router settings to be able to play this game. If I wanted to tinker with settings and hardware I would play on a PC. This is Bungie's issue. The stability of the game varies from patch to patch. I never know after a patch whether the game is going to work properly or not. I love this game but am frustrated. I can't even participate in a raid right now because it's not fair to the group to keep having me drop out.

  • If your on X1 and have an external HDD put everything on it. Once you have done that power down your console the unplug router and modem. Wait 30 sec plug in modem first then router, once fully on, power your Console up and once it's on unplug your external HDD then go to settings and "restore factory default" it will Wipe your console clean of everything, once that's done and your console finishes plug in your external HDD and load up destiny from that and you will have to re download the update once finished downloading launch destiny it should connect verify content and you should be good to go, that's what I had to do and worked for me on x1

  • Me too. Haven't been able to play since Thursday. No response from Bungie's twitter account either
