These kind of threads are always created by ops that want to validate themselves as good players despite not being good. The best player is normally at the top of the score board. Most people I see up there typically have positive kds. It's hard to score alot of points when your dead all the time. Unless you are playing idiots you can't camp in 1 spot with a shotty and make it to the top of the leaderboards. If you are dieing to these types of players, then it's your fault.

  • Thanks for the opinion but I don't create threads to make myself feel better about losing to guys who made 4 more kills than me while dying 6 times as much......and I'm not the guy who gives 8 kills to the guys on top. My point is that some guys get MVP because idiots choose to play a weak style of gameplay and get beaten at their own thing. And apparently you CAN make 25 kills and die 20 times because that's usually the guy who makes mvp every time I play simply because he plays the middle the entire time and never bothers to turn around or use any sort of thought process....which works on about 75% of the opposing players who have the same mindset, which is REACT instead of ACT. The best players are the ones who made just a few less kills but made their team win by not dying all day and being unpredictable in movements. If you play good players the first thing you'll notice is they will surprise you.....hard to understand if you play the same boring style and never even try running perimeter guerrilla tactics like Carlos "Chuck" Norris would in an 80's movie.

  • All I can say is, clearly my first point stands. You are clearly upset about not getting the "mvp" medal in games and think that the people that are getting it more than you have play styles that are some how not legit. I get the medal in about 25 percent of my games. When I don't get it, its because I didn't play as well as I could of. Focus on improving your own play and spend less time thinking about how others are playing. You have an extremely low combat rating on all of your characters, It is not surprising to me that you fail to get the "mvp" medal most games. That stat is a direct correlation to your performance point wise in each game.

  • Too bad combat rating probably favors the guy who dies 20 times to get 22 kills, but since I'm not the only one playing with my characters on Xbone it's not really my concern what overall stats look like. The thing that bothers me isn't my performance but the fact that it's pretty much a given that the bottom 3 or more players are gonna have 0.58 k/d or something in that range. Now, if the top guy does 24-20 SOMEBODY needs to care that isn't either totally inept like that guy, or just not good like the bottom guys. I really do respect everyone's opinion and value input from everyone but I may have been misunderstood in my original post as to why I started this thread.

No it doesn't because you aren't dieing 20 times and topping the leaderboards very often. Get better stop whinning and being butt hurt thinking your the mvp of every game when you arent.

  • You're so right about everything.......except for the fact that without supposedly crappy guys like me who only get 17-4 the guy who was on top wouldn't have anyone on the team to balance out all the deaths coming from him and the guys on bottom who just die. He would be the MVP of a losing team every time so congrats, I'm starting to think you may be a shotgun guy and maybe you are the one with the butthurt.

Delusional. You are average and you get mvp medals at the rate an average player gets them. Stop looking for excuses. This is why people in league think elo hell exists. They externalize their own shortcomings, you can't get better if you refuse to believe you are the one doing something wrong. I don't know if it's bad shots or bad feel for map flow...ect but if you were truly good, you'd be on top more often than not. It has nothing to do with the play style of other people.

  • I'm a casual gamer actually that plays about 1/2 of the games that are played on my Xbone, may cousin plays the other half so that may explain the fact I don't look excellent in Career Overall Ratings. As far as map flow goes I understand it down to a science, it's the other guys on my team who have no clue about spawning changes and perimeter use/flanking.....as opposed to running the exact same place over and over. I play with all three characters unlike some guys who only run one and now have reflexes that mimic reality due to using the exact setup all the time. For me being a guy who uses warlock, hunter and titan equally and not running overpowered crap like last word or VM I'd say I stand out pretty well. I never said I was great though, and I know exactly the thing I need to improve on.......use of guns other than SG is not one of them unlike some people.
