i have a simple solution that should appease everyone on both side of the in game trading debate......while both sides have a valid argument, the point everyone is missing is that this game was originally designed with a trade system and that is the only reason it has RNG loot......what appears to be a broken random loot system is not broken, its just missing the vital component that it was designed around....trading.....yes, open free trade would ruin the game, and yes no trading is unrealistic based on the design of the game.....so how about this....
1. you can only trade with clan mates
2. you must be a member of the clan for 30 days to be able to trade
3. only equal value items can be traded (exotic for exotic, raid gear for raid gear)
4. you earn a traders mark for completing the raid 2 or 3 weeks in a row
5. both trading parties must have a traders mark to trade
6. each traders mark will allow only 1 trade
*EDIT* 7. All gear traded should be completely reset once it has been traded
this way, you cannot trade all you want, cannot sell or trade items to randoms, cannot become friends just to sell and trade an item, none of that would be an issue at all.....and to be honest, would save a lot of customers and make the game experience more dynamic and complete in my opinion....does anybody agree?

i agree with 1,2 and 3, or at least that the items should be of somewhat equal value for exaple 2 legendarys for an exotic etc. furthermore i think a different revision to 4,5, and 6 would be that you simply have to play with a character a certain number of times before you can make one trade. i play this game with my girlfriend and we have always wished we could trade items and weapons between our profiles, partly because she absolutly loves this game but ya know doesn't play it quite as much as me so it is very hard for her to earn things like exotics where as i never do anything els so i have a variety of exotic armors and guns many of them duplicates this game is so designed around teamwork that i strongly urge bungie to work on this idea, in my opinion it would make a great game even better. =)

I don't agreed with doing raids to get "Trading Marks" Becouse you may be A small player wanting to trade your equipment with other Weak. Evrything else go ahead

Hi, I forwarded the screenshot and your suggestion to Bungie and Deej. I have a couple of people who agree with and a few people who disagree. The only thing that most people agree is there should be a trading system with Raid armors and weapons only and it should be between fireteam members during a limited time window. In addition, I have forwarded your idea to a bunch of Destiny Community facebook pages and there was a huge debate, discussions and even insults flying towards me. And that idiot was banned from the group for excessive language. Crazy !

No, there is not and there never will be.....any decent amount of time in this game and you will have everything in it....I got the final piece I needed at around 600hrs......there's not enough weapons or equipment to make a need for trading, but at the same time, there's also not enough items in the game for it to ever be ruined by trading, cause after a while everyone is gonna have everything anyways so who cares which way they get it??

a fix for a lot of issues people bring up is have item exclusive Worth for example -Raid weapon = 5 -is:elemental = 5 -is:exotic = 50 -is:Legendary = 15 -has:firefly = 3 -(the item/guns level of want) = [Super Good Advice = 20] or [Gjallahorn = 400] (but have a 10 - 40 worth leniency) or something similar to reduce the ability for abuse and make it so an exotic shard is capable of holding worth also like does this not solve some of those extra problems ? Sorry For NECRO.

I like it but 30 days seems excessive. You can really get to know people in about two weeks. So i say 14 days is fair. Also i think 2 or 3 legendaries should be able to trade with an Exotic. That way, if someone doesn't want anymore exotics they can get legendaries they might not have

Yes, 30 days is a long time, thats kinda the point, the more dificult and time consuming it is, the smaller the chances for abuse that would ruin it.......and Trading any number of legendary items for an exotic just opens the door for the abuse of the system everyone is so worried about......I have 99.9% of all the weapons in the game worth having, and I can't think of any 3 legendary heavy's that are worth a ghjallahorn, or primaries that are worth a vex, or hawkmoon......but people would be trading easy to obtain, crap quality legendaries ( which you can just buy more than 6 in 1 week if you have 3 characters with maxed out marks, for hard to obtain, rare drop exotics.......the risk for abuse just ain't worth it

Hey, once you meet all the requirements and as long as you stay within the limitations, you are free to do whatever you chose.....if you wanna trade you friend/clanmate an extra ghjallahorn you have for his crappie truth, that's up to you, cause it falls within the restrictions lol

Yes they will have a trading system. But it most likely will be go trade with lower characters cuz they will have new guns for the dlc. The levels will go to 50. and your gonna want the new better guns lol.

The game was not designed to have trading, I don't know why people keep saying this. Not all games with random drops have trading.
