Are my ascendant shards useless?

You would think they would make Xur or Eris convert the ascendant shards or something. Basically, they have a currency in their "economy" that is basically useless... do a 10 to 1 conversion for radiant or something, or else stop giving me shards as "rewards".

You still need to level legendary gear with them.

Save EVERYTHING until TUESDAY and you will see... all the vendors will have new gear that will need to leveled; assuming you want to progress past 30.

I've got 250+ relic iron sitting in my vault. This last patch was a balls up big time. Unless they're planning on letting us trade sometime soon. I could use those shards for my vendor gear XD

5 RepliesNo, they are not useless. Only the new raid armor and weapons use radiant materials. All other legendary armor and weapons still use ascendant materials.

10 RepliesThe new legendary armor vendors have is rumored to be able to push you to light level 30. Which Makes since considering the entire shops are being scrapped and you now need commidations to grab the new gear. Which are only obtainable buy ranking up your faction. If you need 1 per armor piece it will still be a grind to hit 30.
