What Needs to be Done...

[b]...to make Destiny awesome:[/b] -The Gunsmith has worked out a deal with Xur, and can now upgrade exotics with Exotic Shards. New upgrades rotate in his stock every time Xur's stock refreshes. -The Gunsmith can now reroll a legendary weapon's stats for 2 motes of light. -Expand Xur's inventory: exotic engrams for every type of weapon and armor, more telemetries and curios, and a "weekly special" item on a small discount. -Xur or any Tower event needs to have a notification from Tower map bots when they are available. -If you break down a completely maxed exotic, you get all your shards back. -Blue rarity weapons can be upgraded to legendary tier, damage wise only. -Armor can be broken down at the Outfitter into cores and casings. Cores hold all stats and perks. Casings hold the appearance. So different cores and casings can be recombined. Some armor cannot be broken apart, like exotics. -Exotic Bounties for every exotic weapon and armor. Many vendors have them for sale and each vendor has different ones. Some can only be purchased if certain prerequisites are met. Same bounty cannot be repurchased (by same character) until it's completed. Bought with Strange Coins and commendations. -If you reset an exotic half of the experience invested into it prior to the reset will go into the new upgraded version. -Vanguard and Crucible commendations have a small chance to drop when turning in their respected bounties. -Pre-expansion weapons and gear can be bought every other day. -Commendations are also used to upgrade pre-expansion legendaries to the next tier at the Gunsmith or respective Vanguard mentor. Including VOG items. -Factions sell shaders at rank 5, and now accept vanguard marks for "vanguard weapons" and for one set of armor (like Astrolord). -Vanguard faction weapons include the types not currently sold. Like for the FWC: sniper rifle, pulse rifle, fusion rifle, and rocket launcher. -Raking up factions will award "Faction Commendations" that can be awarded to either the vanguard or crucible. -Faction or Vanguard reputation applied when wearing [u]either[/u] class item or emblem. Cannot equip both of different factions, prompt like multiple exotics happens when you try. -Ability to ally with a faction. You lose all reputation from other factions, but gain more with your allied. Also, you can eventually get faction quests where upon completion gives you light level 32 armor and exotics. -Vanguard or Faction rank up reward packages will no longer award ascendant materials or coins by themselves. -Legendary engrams will always produce a weapon or armor. As they may be broken down for materials if unwanted. -Cryptarch sells legendary engrams on occasion for motes of light. Once at CA level 10, and you can only purchase one before stock refresh. -The Tower outfitter now sells [u]any[/u] shaders and emblems your account has unlocked for repurchase. -The Speaker can bless the class items he sells (mark, cloak, or bond) with a temporary buff for 2 motes of light. Buff could range from increased glimmer from all enemies, to more experience for armor, or more crucible bounty rep. -Weapons and armor can be toggled to "favorite" (cannot dismantle) by pressing the inspect function (right stick). -Holding left trigger then dismantle will dismantle all greens in the inventory once character is at level 20. -You can split a stack of materials in half by pressing "Triangle" or "Y". Holding this button recombines all stacks. -Double (hell, triple) the Vault space, allow access from orbit. -Each ammo synthesis has it's own cooldown timer. -Sell excess materials (ex. Spinmetal) for glimmer and: faction, vanguard, or crucible reputation. -Nighfall levels reward tiers. At level 28: legendaries and coins, and small chance for exotics. At level 30: guaranteed legendary or materials, and a high chance for exotics. -Ability to retry a Nightfall from the post game screen if failed. -More "Exotic" weapons: Ex. Have [b]Shoot to Loot[/b] instead of [b]Hair Trigger[/b] on the MIDA Multi-Tool. -Increased Glimmer cap. -Award glimmer from bounties. -Strange Coins made into shared currency like Glimmer. -Notification when you reach the Vanguard or Crucible marks inventory cap. -Make purchases in app for anything, and transfer items from vault to inventory. -More options: disable aim assist, sound channels, accessibility options, and number values instead of "bars" on weapons. -Six player patrols. Up to ten player raids with scaling starting after six. -Open up every area, make a truly open world game. -Completely unique nightfalls every week. Not just shuffled burns and modifiers. But completely new and different encounters, and challenges. Examples: melee shields, guardians must melee enemy shields to instantly disable them.

    I really like the ideas of splitting materials and using your vault in orbit. The gunsmith does need to be updated with a role that makes him more useful. As does the cryptark. I would also like to see the glimmer cap be raised. We are going to be spending around 7000 to upgrade an exotic, IB stuff uses a ton of glimmer and heavy ammo is a 1000 a pop when xur isnt selling. Not to mention you spend glimmer on each upgrade in the tree as well. As much as i love my legendary guns the ones im most concerned about are raid weapons. I believe the raid weapons are on par if not even more important than exotics and should be upgradeable. I would in the future like for a bigger raid team raid. Like a 10 man would be sweet. I hate trying to create a 6 man team i always feel bad im leaving men behind. Just increase the size and difficulty and its very feasible. Lastly i do believe xur should wear a santa hat on Christmas.

      • How's about a retry option for nightfall? Instead of always being sent to orbit have an option to retry or go to orbit

        • 2 tiers to the nightfall, Lv28 (legendaries, chance at exotic, also drops materials/coins) Lv30 (high chance of exotics that start in upgraded form, chance of legendary weapons)
