Treebeard really freaked me out as a kid (Not anymore as you can see). The orcs, fighting, Nazgûls and all that stuff didn't bother me but Treebeard just creeped me the hell out. I just had a fear of trees in general. I was even afraid of walking past a certain window in my house because I thought the tree just outside it would eat me.
