Nooope! Not canon anymore! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, SUCK IT EU NERDS!

I would make it canon by making a movie about it. Then it will be

The EU was awful. There were a few good stories here and there (particularly the Thrawn trilogy) but most of it was awful. I'm glad it's gone.

Wow, you must have a horrible taste in stories. I've read over 40 EU books( and counting) and I love every one of them

Edited by car15: 12/4/2014 3:16:57 AMThe Thrawn trilogy was good. Shatterpoint was good. The prequel novelizations improved the movies they were based on immensely. (Although I never read the one for TPM, but it was written by Terry Brooks, so it was probably good.) That's about it. Granted, I've only read 10-12 of those books, but most of them were total shit. I read the first three New Jedi Order novels and stopped because they were so awful. Come on, admit it. Enemies that exist "outside the Force", who just magically come in from another galaxy with their organic ships and masochistic body mods and start tearing shit up? They are so painfully out of place in the Star Wars universe, and it doesn't help that the books themselves are pretty average reads. Fuck the Yuuzhan Vong. I'm glad they're not canon anymore. ... As far as video games go, most of them had laughably bad plots, although KOTOR was an exception. The Force Unleashed had potential, but it put way too much power in the hands of freakin' Force Jesus. (I'm talking about the apprentice... I forget his name.) If he weren't so unrealistically powerful, it might have been better.
