Is this going to happen every time a DLC comes out? Your progress is going to get reset every time? If so, you'll be tearing longer then I'll be around.

It doesn't matter to me. Would you rather them make your gear useless and rerelease new versions of it that you have to get again? That is how most gear progression games handle this. You have to get that gear again in order to get the upgrade.

No, I suggest make items that you can add to the existing item to make it better. You only have one real character. If you were in the position other's were in then you'd be upset as well.

I have multiple maxed out exotics and it doesn't matter to me. Take diablo 3 for example, when they pushed the level cap up to a 70 from 60 the old gear was made completely useless and you had to farm for the exact same gear again in order to be efficient. That is how games like this work, just be glad they didn't make them useless and you would have to farm for the upgraded version again. Now you have a choice.

We'd rather the fairly obvious 'C' option which is: make it so you can boost the weapon from 300 to max without resetting it. Obviously.
