I've been going over what we know about that Traveler. Next to nothing is pretty close to what I found. There are arguments for all of these options, but which one do you think it will end up being?! Note: These are very general assumptions based on an logic algorithm I'm putting together. There are "sub-possibilities," if you will, so if you're passionate about a differing theory, vote for the closest and post your theory in this forum! This poll will be featured in my next video, and so will interesting comments and discussions. NOTE: Keep in mind that "driven" could mean remotely. Thank you, guardians!

 • After watching a certain video (link is attached), I now have a completely new theory on who/what the Traveler is and what "The Darkness" is. What if "The Darkness" (composed of Fallen, Hive, Vex, and Cabal) were all "visited" by the Traveler. The Traveler is indeed acting out of self-preservation and is using different races and systems to defend itself. When different systems/races of beings realize that they are being used, they become angry and seek to destroy the Traveler for bringing its enemy to them. My guess is that the Fallen were originally the ones chasing the Traveler, or the first ones to get screwed over. I can order them based on how many planets they appear on. The Fallen are clearly investing the most resources into the fight. They are found on every planet, while the Hive and Vex are only found on 2 planets, and the Cabal on only 1. They could all be after the Traveler, and they fight with each other because they don't know that they are under a common goal: to bring down the Traveler. The other factions in the game may not even be as evil as previously thought. It would make sense that if they are after the Traveler, they would know the mindset of any other race affected by it, therefore ruling out reasoning. The Traveler was like a god to the humans. I'm sure I will be proven wrong December 9 when the DLC comes out, or when someone comes along and proves my theory wrong. I want to hear your input if you have any. Feel free to expand upon, or disprove my theory.
