This pocket infinity took me 2 weeks to get through the exotic bounty. It was a pain i in the arse to find 10 rare or better fusion rifles to dismantle. I was so excited to use this weapon after i completed my bounty only to find out it's pure crap.
I also have a legendary fusion rifle called Light/Beware. This fusion rifle is a beast at least in PVE. I used this fusion rifle to complete the last part of the exotic bounty and got it done in about a hour.
The range on Pocket Infinity is short, the charge time is horrendously long which easily puts you in danger of being killed and compared to my legendary fusion rifle it doesn't do as much damage due to its lower impact rating. I don't judge a book by its cover but even after it's upgraded with its perks it so wouldn't make it a viable option to user for serious matches and high level strikes. For me this weapon is garbage and soon to be dismantled. I wish Bungie thought more about the balance of these exotic items compared to the legendary items. Smh...
How do you guys feel about this fusion rifle if you have it?
Update
I have dismantled my Pocket Infinity fusion rifle. I don't like the stats or functions. I've come to terms with the fact the gun is just not for me.

Everyone who's dismantling exotics after comparing to legendaries seems to be missing a key point: Exotics will be upgradable after the level cap increase, so they'll still be useful, while you'll be discarding your level 20 / attack 300 legendaries because they'll be obsolete. This doesn't take away from the current advantage of some legendaries while we're capped at attack 300, but you may be kicking yourself down the road when we're able to upgrade current exotics to attack 330 (or whatever.) Or maybe not, Plan C seems better to me and it'll also be an upgradeable exotic.
