Anyone else feel this way? They just tend to be more...pleasant than rando Americans.
Americans are like all loud and "-blam!- ya! 'murica baby!" and Europeans are all like "greetings mate, would you care to partake in an Aetheon run?"
Edit 1: Sorry to the Americans that are offended by this. Honestly it didn't even occur to me that anyone would be genuinely upset. It's just an online game, and I don't think there is much room for patriotism in it.
Edit 2: "American", "British", and "European" are not races. In fact, I know more than one British person whose race is "asian"
Edit 3: Aussies are cool too :)

Edited by Frickin Rock: 11/27/2014 3:27:15 AMMy friends from the UK so he hosts for COD on SND. No matter what place in the world anyone is from little kids and teens, very rude XD
-
Really more of an age thing one British teen in particular was an, I believe the culturally accepted term is "annoying little wanker"
-
I don't know what you're talking about, I played VOG with a UK guy today that just dumped on people the entire time cussing a moaning. Everything is a case by case basis, I've played with a decent mix of folks, it just comes down to patience and maturity really.
-
This post is non sense... You can't really generalise this way... Specially when talking about people!!!
-
I have mostly played with americans; a majority of them are not the way you describe, BaconNinja. I don't feel the same way at all. Your post also seems somewhat bigoted. People from all nationalities have the potential to be obnoxious in the way you put it.
-
I'm Canadian and I agree!
-
Dude, can't agree more. Me and my guys always try to have an australian in the raid because we just like to listen to them speak. The lulz ^.^ but yeah, usually the most respectful players.
-
As long as they're older than 18 then I don't mind
-
I like running with people from Zimbabwe and Greece
-
Lol this is some gay shizzz
-
Its cool, Benedict Arnold...

As an American, I agree with this post. Sometimes, I want to enjoy a little culture. I don't give a f*ck if it's over a game, or not.
-
Woot! Aussiesss!
-
Definitely. Always more pleasant and enjoyable for me. Makes things easier.
-
Ever played with a Mexican? Pretty funny.
-
My memorable moment was when I assembled a random group and ended up with brits, Canadians an American and a German. The Germans accent was as stereotypical as you can imagine. The American goes, "that is a really German accent." The German replies "that is because I am German". It's was brilliant

Edited by nzkt: 11/26/2014 7:21:57 PMAre all British people hunters?
-
YES!! My best raider friends are from New Zealand and a few a British as well. The Australians get out of hand if they're playing with the kiwis though. Its always entertaining. I like people from other countries more for the most part. haha usually they're just nicer all around.
-
Aussies are fun to play with but that one Aussie hunter going "you call that a knife, THIS is a knife" every time he threw a knife got kinda old tho.
-
I'm American in Indonesia. Because of my time zone, majority of the time I group with Europeans. Good stuff. Also, raided with a dude from India. His dancing bedazzled the Gorgon.
-
I would be, too! Euros are fun.
-
I LOVE the international aspect of this game!!!! :D I'm in Canada and I am ALWAYS excited when joining a group :) no matter where people are at, it's always fascinating
-
I'm an American on the west coast. I agree. I get up at 5am and play before the kids get up. The Brits are normally on by then because it's about 1pm for them. Awesome people. That and I don't get the N-word, the disrespect, or the general rush from randoms in the states. I'm not offended at all

I roll with a great VoG crew. Very supportive and frequently help out newer raid players. I have to believe most players are civil, regardless of country. Of course there are jerks, either I'll leave or boot'em. Life's too short to play with soul sucking individuals. I don't let them spoil my game.

Dont mock the 'Muricans for being patriotic
