I'm an American - I prefer running VoG with British or other European people
Anyone else feel this way? They just tend to be more...pleasant than rando Americans.
Americans are like all loud and "-blam!- ya! 'murica baby!" and Europeans are all like "greetings mate, would you care to partake in an Aetheon run?"

I feel the same way. My first raid experience was with people from America and they didn't seem to have a lot of patience. My second time I played with some people from the uk and they actually were patient and taught me how to use the relic.

I ran vog hard with a couple of Brits last night. They were really good. Then we had to replace one of them and got another American. He was rather obnoxious...

I totally agree! British accents are amazing, and they are pretty funny. However, I have met some really cool Americans as well.

2 RepliesStrangely enough, I'm British and only do the Hard RAID with my German friends as we can run through it no problem. My American friends though, seem more competent than most of my British Friends, granted. But the group with the best spirt in Game hasn't been a particular region, it's been the Destiny Dads Clan, be it UK, USA or other, they are all a pleasure to play along side... I do enjoy meeting up with people of different cultures and from different locals. Conversing also the current topics of the day as we play. PS I recently learned from an American friend in Richmond, that they have 4 different types of Mountain Dew - Ruby Red - Electric Blue or something and more perhaps.... Thanks to him I now know what I want for Christmass. (Spelt correctly to my generation dam you auto correct) Richard Clan Cornwall UK

I played a couple raids with some brits and aussies. They were probably some of the funniest dudes i played with. Everybody was chill, had a good time, and beat the raid. Being American I really don't mind who i play with, just as long they're not a stupid little kid who is obnoxious and thinks he's the best at everything.

I'm a brit, and I don't mind with playing with Americans some of the time, especially anyone with a southern American accent. it just sounds awesome, I dunno why, they are always so friendly! Which always surprises me as general media depicts people from the south of America, no being nice... But they're cool.

I have a clan which is mostly Americans/Canadians who are all awesome people but when I join random groups you tend to have atleast one American thinking he's god's gift to the world and starts bad mouthing and telling everyone what to do. Having said that one British guy I played with once was a complete ASS, enough so that everyone left him to raid on his own. Also, what is up with the....................MERICA???? I've never understood this and it makes you sound like a complete retard.

I'm British and love doing the raid with Americans, a few weeks ago I was in a party with all other 5 players being American and it was fun as hell. All Americans I've played with so far have been great players and I actually prefer raiding with them. Every time I raid with my fellow Brits I always get unlucky and get a team with a bunch of kids in that just won't STFU!

I'm from the southern part of US and I play with a AU clan and they haven't ever said anything about my southern draw but every -blam!-ing time I play with some1 from the north they immediately start making fun of me. . They are way friendlier and willing to help out. If your offended by this post maybe you are part of why we prefer to play with people abroad!!!!

I like to get in random groups and speak with a British or Scottish accent (btw I do both very well and it's pretty funny) just to get laughs from people. A well timed "PISS OFF" or a "fockin ell" can do wonders to lighten the mood when people start dropping in the portals.

2 RepliesI read that last sentence in the cutest voice ever. But I'm in the same boat. I have a group of guys in England that always seem to be running the raid at the same time as I. I don't always understand what they're saying, but even just being in their fireteam makes me feel 1000% classier. They're the nicest guys, and I've never seen a single one of them get butthurt over a silly joke or after someone stumbles and we have to wipe. Played with my other group. One guy is super awesome (his name is awesomenot) and very friendly. "Well you obviously don't give a -blam!- about me, or never did. Just shut up." I hear after one joins the party. Apparently he was going through a breakup mid-raid. Some guy kept yelling to his wife in the other room to get an update on some ball game. Some kid was attempting to order tacos (i.e., barking orders at his mom), then proceeded to try to eat said tacos while in the gorgons maze (don't try this at home folks). And then of course there's always a spout of cursing someone out for a good 2 minutes when they inevitably mess something up.
