While all the others I feel are self-explanatory, I will explain why I feel Digital Downloads and Pre-Loading is wrong IMHO. The convenience is great that's obvious what may not be is it is not as competitively priced if they have a captive market, competition is good. Used game market will also die.
There may be others I have have missed or couldn't fit in, so please feel free to list other concerns you have if I have not included them or comment on the poll options above if you want.
Edit: Dishonourable mentions
Pre-orders & Day 1DLC
Split screen not being included as standard.

I don't like seeing Micro-transactions in a 60$ game. Unacceptable cash grab
-
The cancerous portion of the Halo community.
-
Honestly, as long as paid DLC is justified, I am 100% okay with it. Take the Skyrim DLC's (Dawnguard and Dragonborn) and the Shivering Isles DLC for Oblivion. They added new things, adding to the longevity of the games. As long as the content isn't on the disc, and is priced fairly, I don't think it's a problem.
-
Unfinished/broken games for sure, but always online DRM shit is pretty upsetting.
-
I hate that we have to pay for the little stuff. I dont mind buying a DLC, but if its gonna be called a DLC it should have plenty of content (skyrim was great on that part)
-
The publishers. Get rid of publishers like Activision/EA and put in ones that actually care about games and most of these problems would solve themselves.
-
I never liked micro transactions. Really takes away from the game, or in some cases, the game is built around them.
-
Damn it hit paid dlc right away, but yeah, unfinished games has become a very big problem. Pretty soon it'll be a collab, hey here's half this game! The other half is in a $60 DLC. And after the DLC it won't even be complete. Now that's what worries me.
-
Most annoying is unfinished or broken games. Every CoD is guilty of this, as well as Destiny. And lying developers. I hate that. GTA V lied about heists for over a year. And guess what? GTA V S T I L L has no heists.
-
Downloadable-content is a load of shit to get people's money. Especially when the DLC affects the next game in the series.
-
A lot of these are quite concerning, but none are worse than purchasing a game that won't work properly. Or unfinished AND broken. You wouldn't go buy coffee from starbucks and get a cup of hot water with a hole in it. Why are my games this way?

Edited by Garzon: 1/6/2015 3:18:39 AMAll of the above. Not to mention: -in-game advertisements (mostly mobile, but still annoying) -splitscreen disappearing -no more gaming arcades -freemium *sigh* I miss the days when I could come home from GameStop with a game.

Edited by TheLeo1110: 11/30/2014 1:23:28 AM
GAMES AREN'T WHAT THE HELL YOU THINK THEY ARE ANYMORE
There are just certain things that tick me off with games. Activision is one huge example. I pay $60 for Destiny, mildly enjoy it, then they expect me to pay ANOTHER $40 for DLC that's ALREADY ON THE DISK. The maps and code is already burned on the disk and on your system, but I have to pay $40 to play my game, and an incomplete story. The story was legitimately CUT TO BE SOLD AS DAMN DLC.
WITHIN FIVE YEARS ACTIVISION WILL EITHER BANKRUPT OR MONOPOLIZE GAMING
-
DLC isn't bad when it's a lot of content and isn't released until a while after release i.e. Skyrim's DLCs
-
Unfinished games, which then require you to buy the completed game under the guise of an "Expansion," part of which was already on the disc but locked because they did not meet the deadline, or got greedy. Or both.
-
Edited by Deleted235708: 1/13/2015 9:39:55 PMDLCs - Should never be finished before the game comes out. - Shouldn't be released less then two months after the game comes out. Looking at you 343. - Should not be content that was already in the game but taken out for DLC. Looking at you Bungie. Otherwise it should be part of the game on release.
-
Seriously most game companies always say they are going to have dedicated servers, but the games they release never do!
-
Almost all these apply to destiny
-
None of these, the most concerning trend is "hype culture" ignorant consumers pre-ordering, buying shirts and merchandise. Hype is only reason Destiny was so successful. F*cks sake, Bungie was the most hyped for Destiny... Their heads were so far up their a*ses, that even they thought they were creating the Messiah of video games. Watchdogs, AC: Unity, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Destiny. Broken, unfinished and sh*tty games are released all the time. It's the consumers fault for not thinking, falling into the hype and pre-ordering this sh*t. #stahpthahype

Paid DLC is a fücking butt-munch to the brain. It shouldn't exist. But the fatter goat cursing the gaming community is the said unfinished/broken games. I mean seriously, we shouldn't even be worried about the next Sonic game being done in time or not. I'd wait 10 years for a good game instead of a few months for shit. I can take a shit in under an hour, so if I wanted shit, I'll just refer myself to my own asshole.

I hate ALL of these things
-
I think all of them are, I can't decide
-
Edited by Cappy kill: 1/7/2015 4:00:16 AMRemember when you could buy a game at the store and what you bought was the final product? (Except for dlc of course) well now companies sell a game then give like a 2 gig update instead of just releasing a finished product like it must suck for people on next gen without internet because no games are sold that don't have game breaking bugs at launch that need updating
-
Things like u play and WB id

Halo MCC-terrible servers, assassins creed-broke game mechanics, COD and Destiny Cut content anything I missed so far a disappointment in games lately.
