I see many people complain about how Xur is ruining the game. Where getting something what is supposed to make you stand out is something you get once a week by buying it. So I thought of a plan. You get bounties for the exotic instead of just straight up buying it. However you still use the strange coins to purchase the bounty for the item. You see last word? Go do missions/ strikes without dying. (Set missions for the bounties so they are level 28 and if you die you can't exit and return to cheap it) What do you think? Make it challenging to get an exotic. Show you worked for it and stand out. At least it's better than RNG. Edit: Just to note. Once you have the bounty you have an unlimited time to complete it if Xur isn't there you can hand it to the post master to claim your reward. Edit2: The bounty shows the reward when cursor is hovering over it. Such as "breaking the ice" would give you Ice breaker but would show the reward when the cursor is over it.
