Best gun in the game?

No definitive best gun for any and all situations. Apart from the gjallarhorn. That thing wrecks.

I don't think there is a definite "best gun in the game" because people have different preferences, but there is a top 5 for sure

VoC, like the Suros but with range. Also can't argue with perfect stability. Solar Is just an extra perk

Fatebringer. Firefly makes this gun ridiculous against mobs.

this is definitely a broad question , there are a variety of circumstances that could change the answer. assuming you are looking for an answer that doesn't differentiate between situations and simply asking about which gun shines in every scenario, I believe I could answer honestly because of my inventory selection. I am only missing praedyth's timepiece and universal remote. primary - fatebringer. just a -blam!-ing monster, shreds as hard in pvp as it does in pve. it's a 12 shot hand cannon, an elemental primary, with firefly,outlaw, and explosive round upgrades, has oracle disruptor for the raid, And the beauty of the gun is that it is NOT an exotic. that's why I love the raid guns so much. most of them are better than exotics, but the fact that they don't take up your exotic slot is killer. VoC is a close second, I only went fatebringer because I believe it is stronger in pvp. special- icebreaker for pve, plan C for pvp, icebreaker doesn't need explanation. invaluable for the ammo regen, and while this is obviously fantastic, the lesser spoken of value to the gun is its particularly high impact. icebreaker is the #2 choice for Atheon fights, hits like a truck. for pvp, plan C is just a monster. please correct me if I am mistaken, but (upgraded) plan C has the quickest charge time of any fusion rifle currently in game. to boot, it has an almost maxed out impact stat, crazy range and accuracy, but the kicker is it's quick charge time. I am not even referring to the plan C perk that gives an instant shot, just a regular shot is what I mean. it beats any other fusion, it beats all shotguns, and with the range you can take out autos as well. it's special perk is just funny, catches people off guard everytime. heavy- gjallarhorn. 1 shots anything that's not a boss. there is no question to this, no grey area, no discrepancy. overall- gjallarhorn. all of its power aside, it's a life saver. the other day in hardmode, for whatever reason we lost 4 people during confluxes. me and a buddy 2 manned most of the third conflux phase with gjallarhorns. wouldn't have worked without them. hopefully everyone gets it soon.

What kind of options are these? You give a nurfed assault rifle and a nurfed fusion rifle that is useless. Haha this is a terrible post. It's all about Fatebringer.

I think Icebreaker would be the gun I would miss the most if I didn't have it. As far as primary, the one I use the most is VOC from raid, I use it over Suros, and Fatebringer. IDK about Mythoclast yet seeing as it just won't drop for me :(

Kinda hard to answer that because most things are situational.. Should have asked best loadout!! VoC Praedyth's Revenge Ghorn This will certainly change with the buffs coming as my Mytho should by epic finally.

Icebreaker for me. I'm not really a pvp player so this lets me get through the bosses quickly

I shut VoC users down with the last word. Basically shut anyone down with it in Xbox. I don't know how it'd fair against a hawkmoon.
