Bungie, for the amount of time this problem has persisted, you'd have thought you would have rolled back the build so that people could continue their gaming by now.
I've just woken up here in the UK, and it seems our games still will not update, perusing the forum you can see just how many people have been reinstalling, faffing with US psn accounts in the hope that would work and still no avail.
PSN maintainance finished an entire night ago, PSN store is working fine.. and still there is no 'plausable' solution.
You say your actively working on it, whereas i'm inclined to believe due to the hour, you guys will pretty much have gone home and will now be soundly asleep. I'd be crucified at work if i allowed a problem to persist for this long. If we mess up this badly, and we can't fix it within a 'few' hours.. we have to roll our builds back until we can provide a fix.
This is blatently the result of gross negligence, and i believe you owe the masses of frustrated customers better communication on this issue with an explanation of what measures you are actually taking to resolve this issue.
To prevent so many people using the product they have purchased for such an extensive period also usually results in a customary show of compensation, generally in the form of gametime for subscription based models.. but what can you offer to compensate us for your failing in providing people the service they paid for?
It would be appreciated if you could inform us with more detailed updates on what 'you' are doing rather than fobbing us off with extensive workarounds that don't even work.
Lets hope this is fixed by the time we return from work. (Won't be holding my breath...)

It seems that BTHRZeroX on Reddit has discovered that on the US version of the PSN Store, there is a Pack 2 for destiny, whereas on the EU version we don't have that.
Therefore bungie, if you have a EU version of the pack, get in touch with Sony and find out why it's not on there. Or more likely if you dont have the pack built.. get it built and sent to sony so they can upload it.

The download screen came up after pressing 'X' on the destiny startup screen & it took me to the PSN Store to order and download. Phew 😊

and still we wait for even an update on what's going on and what they are doing about it... saying 'working on it' while at home sleeping isn't good enough, should be some shuffling of shifts to make sure at least someone is still looking into it.. Get in contact with sony and get that compatibility pack 2 onto the other regions... OR roll back the patch till you get it sorted.

Nah that's not the issue. Friend on PS3 in AU can play fine Friend on PS4 in NZ can play fine I'm on PS3 in NZ, I have the error. It's not a regional thing

Australia is down as far as I can tell but only PS3. PS4 accounts seem able to play.

Agreed, I still can't believe they tried to fob this off and say it was sony's fault cos of their scheduled maintenance. Guess what guys, it's YOUR problem, YOU fix it. Because guess what, create a new psn account? Doesn't work. Delete and reinstall game (took me 2 hours btw)? Doesn't work. Free up memory on your console? Doesn't work. I have over 150gb free space. Bungie, you have cut the game off to a lot of people, only you are going to lose out. If this isn't fixed soon I'm extremely tempted to cancel my expansion pass.
