That all works until a group of griefers/trollers take up all the tables and sell jack squat, or set their prices to ridiculous levels. They could just idle all day and not get kicked out. Then there will also be all the spammers that try to get you to pay real money for items and resources, that will be annoying as hell. Idea 2 might work though, in fact Xur did something like that but for only 1 hour then never did it again.

This is a great idea i love it but the will never make any thing like this it will make the game way to easy to buy exotics with strange coins and motes of light are not hard to get and yes glimmer has no value to me but where is the fun if you cant be challenged

IF this were to happen, I don't think the player population should be able to set prices, bungie would have to work out the set prices per item, that way everyone is getting a fair shake. In theory.
