Do you say "Mars/Venus" or "left/right" when you get teleported?
My team [b]always[/b] says left or right, and every time I'm playing with other people and they say Mars or Venus, I'm always like "Is that left or right?"

I heard somewhere that the left(mars) is actually supposed to be the future, while the right(Venus) is supposed to be the past

Edited by m00ninite: 11/17/2014 8:53:52 PMMy groups use Mars/Venus, but what is a nice little helper is once the team inside the portal is done start using Left/Right to help people reorient coming out of the portal and getting to the middle more effectively. Simply said, if team is on Mars and just kills last Oracle, the call would be something along the lines of "Time's Vengeance. Out to the left." I noticed with increased communication with something as simple as this, we lost no members in the transition periods. When using Left/Right from the start, the team coming out of the portal will need to remember to turn the opposite direction when heading back through to get to the middle platform. I could see the double use of these words being more confusing in battle.

Left or right. Everyone should know their areas by now, it's only two and it's also easier for people to react instead of question "What's Mars? Where's Venus? ...Aren't they both past and future?"

I also call out the exit direction for the away team if we're using the "relic on the center platform" strategy: "go left go left go left" or "go right go right go right". Nobody's told me to shut up yet, so I guess it's moderately useful. YMMV

I say both. But I am also the guy who never shuts up constantly communicating what I'm doing(no not like oh I killed a guy but like I'll say cleansing and count down so oracle hunters know to group)

Mars/Venus primarily Red/Green sometimes Left/Right only if someone in my party only knows it by that My thoughts are that it takes less time to process Mars/Venus and Red/Green than Left/Right, especially for the people inside the portal. I hear people say all the time that you shouldn't have to communicate. I say that's bull-blam-. Even if everyone knows where you are, it's still good to call stuff out just to be safe. Calling out the side can help remind people NOT inside whether or not you may need help inside eventually or not.

I alway check the radar... It will show you where they went with a little deductive reasoning.

I prefer saying left/right since it should be the most clear, and logical way of saying it. However, since some randoms I join/join me are too dumb to know right/left, I have started saying both left/right and mars/Venus. I usually also tell them to look at their fricking minimap. (I often call out which side even when I'm outside)

YOUR IN THE SAME ROOM WHEN YOU GET PORTED JUST DIFF TIME LINES YOU STUPID FOOLS!! Use that damn brain in your head people, all 3 rooms are IDENTICAL! Just different colour pallets -_- No wonder no body has found out whats after atheon's death due to no one realizing they are over looking 2/3 of the room.
