NAT Settings say Moderate when all the settings seem to be telling me its open.

My NAT settings have always been open, I've never had an issue with this. Now all of the sudden when I went to join a friend's fireteam today Destiny is telling me I can't due to my NAT settings being set to type 2 - moderate. I haven't changed anything with my router and my Xbox One is telling me my NAT settings are still open... Anybody have any ideas?

  • Have you already tried doing a hard reset on your console (power cycling by unplugging from the power source)? If you have, I would refer you to this [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11931]Configuring your NAT[/url] article on how to manually check all your settings to make sure they're correct. If you done all of the above and still unable to connect to some players, you may have to contact your ISP to look into it further.

    • I disabled Upnp and went from poor connection (little sliver red) to good (full green bar)

    • Bump. I started to have the same issue today and it was the most frustrating thing. It's been fine since launch and now all of the sudden today there's problems. I tried port forwarding. Everything. No luck.

      • This has become a persistent problem for multiple people I know also. I hope this issue is fixed soon. It has happened since the "stability" was increased. I wish I could be more specific but I am sure your logs are flooded by now. Any feedback on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
