This is a very unique looking pulse rifle with great aesthetics and can be fired in full auto. Feels like it should be a legendary weapon at least. It would make more sense for when you beat the story mode that you receive your first legendary item wouldn't it?
-
A legendary character gives out a rare item///she must be related to the crytarch
-
Has anyone noticed the fate of all fools exotic scout rifle looks like the strangers rifle
-
Qyeztion as all story modes can be run again at harder difficulty. Can you not do the whole storey and get if again at a higher level?
-
Cause it's awful!!
-
It is a great weapon to pass down to other characters. For a L16 weapon, it has very impressive damage. It made the last few missions easy breezy with my second who didn't even finish leveling it up. I like it. I wish it was still valid.
-
Because it caps at level 16 which is where most people are about when they complete the game.
-
Because it's level 16..... Legendary an exotic are level 20. -.-
-
Well, something is in the works for it I believe. Otherwise why would I get it again after dismantling it after I upgraded it all the way, and when I get it it's fully upgraded.
-
I'm really attached to the Strangers Rifle. Wouldn't it be sweet if we could somehow buff it up to legendary (subtle hint Bungie guys)
-
Heads up the fate of all fools (an exotic scout rifle) is the same model as the strangers rifle with a blue skin instead of the original yellow. Keep an eye out!
-
Because you have to earn your legendary and exotic weapons.
-
It is very easy to get. Everyone has it now, Bungie knew it would happen that everyone would beat the game.
-
It should be green or white, that's how bad it sucks
-
I agree!
-
Because it has a level 16 req., while legendaries have 20
-
I noticed it looks a lot like Fate of all Fools... So maybe they could co-relate some day? I strongly doubt it... But a guy could dream...
-
Cuz their entire weapon system is broken. You can buy the best weapons in the game? They do as much damage as the next best tier. And all this while they implemented a system where they want you to grind for gear. LOOL they removed themselves the reason they wanted you to play this game more than once by selling everything.

Edited by MoRtiS NoCTu: 11/16/2014 9:17:40 PMTotally agree! No one uses the stranger's rifle because it's weak and blue, though it looks and feels great. I'd love to use it if it were powerful enough to justify it.
-
Yea but you're making sense, like you said. Clearly bungie has no intention of this
-
It was Legendary at one time. I finished the game on my first character the Friday/Saturday following the Tuesday release and it was definitely purple. My second completion granted me a blue one. It was changed somewhere in between my first and second play through.
-
Bump*
-
I agree little late now but i still agree lol
-
Because it's the best blue, or rare, weapon in the game
-
I think the point of it is to be a second characters gun. I started my second character, a hunter, about a month ago. Once I got him to lvl 16 I started using the strangers rifle because it was the best gun I had in my vault. I kept using it until I was level 24, when I found another pulse rifle that did a little more base damage, but not before I fully upgraded it. I'll use it next when I start my titan and get it to level 16.
-
If it was a legendary weapon you wouldn't be able to use it until you level 20. And i got it at level 16 or 17. So i definitely don't want it to be a legendary.

It's one of the best looking, love the reticle! Needs a serious buff and be made a legendary
