Praedyth's Timepiece

So I got one yesterday and have a few questions about it. A friend got it, too and we were like: 'Dayum this looks like some badass pulse rifle!' Since Red Death is considered to be good in pvp but i can't really kill anything with it I was very surprised how good the Timepiece is (just killed some creeps on earth to get an idea on how it is firing its bursts, recoil etc) I did not have very much time to test it though and told my friend he should tell me how badass it really is in PvP. His answer was: 'It isn't!' The extra headshot damage does not seem to work in pvp (can anyone confirm this?) and its' damage is way to low to play it effectively. I'd love to use this gun, haven't played it myself yet and due to the server downtime I won't be able to do so today. So what about those who have it - Maybe even maxed out. Is it an option for pvp? Does the perk work? Does it need a buff (more impact)? Because I think pulse rifles just suck at the moment. I'd love to use Bad Juju but in pvp it's just plain garbage and I did not become friends with Red death either. Looks like the most promising gun is gonna suck, too...

It's not that good. It has great fire rate and stability but the damage output is way too low to win any 1 on 1 encounters. There are better pulse rifle alternatives for pvp.
