Add a "Boss Damage" stat (resisting the urge to add Deej's name to the title).

Yes. I know about the title. Anyways. Have a great K/D ratio? That's nice. But how good are you really? Many times in strikes I will concentrate on damaging the boss while teammates hold off adds (btw what does "adds" actually mean? I picked it up through context clues, but don't really know). So at the end of a strike, I have fewer kills, lower KD ratio, etc, yet I might have been the most skillful player (not always). I propose adding more stats in, like a "boss damage" stat, or a "total damage out" stat. I'm sure there are other stats bungie could be messing without too much trouble. Any you would like to see them add?

    Don't care. I've done multiple nightfalls where friends already died and it was more safe / less time to go for the boss than to revive them. Yet I say it is a team effort. Same for k/d in pve, it does not matter. For vault? Dito

    • I usually go to orbit before the stat screen so wouldn't see it, but it's a nice idea.

        • I do hope that they add a total damage and also even damage to boss stat. I want to see how much of teams damage I'm actually doing

              • I have kind of a problem with you saying that you end up being the most skilled player in that peticular context. You wouldn't be able to do so much damage if your teammates wouldn't take out the adds. Just as them wouldn't get the boss down without you concentrating on him. Killing a boss is always a group-effort not something that is done solo... only if you solo an encounter. Who did what doesn't matter in the end only that you and your team are still standing on your feet while the boss doesn't. E-Peen-Meters and stuff like that have never been necessary. I can except them in games that require you to press a specific combination of keys in a specific order with precise timing like WoW and MMOs like it. In general games in which clicking keys without failing to do so is called "skill". And even there only that players for themselves can improve their typing... sorry, skill while practicing at a boss puppet. In a fps environment "tools" like a damage-meter are not serving any purpose.

                • adds = additional enemies; the purpose of which is to back up their bullet sponging bosses because they're pussies that won't go 3v1 or 6v1 even though they have massive health and a gun that can wipe a team in 3 shots.
