The Vex Mythoclast is Truly a Myth
For some(myself included), the "Vex Mythoclast" is indeed a myth. Some are content on not finding it, while others rant, and they have good reason too. I've seen and experienced 14 completions, 39 completions, even hard 50 completions and still nothing of "true" value. I for one can understand the frustration. Especially if you have had the pleasure of witness someone get brought into the end of the raid only to get what some may call Destiny's "ultimate loot". That is obscured, and unreasonable of Bungie to implement this mechanic into Destiny.
I will ask, please share your experiences, whether you were lucky enough, or just plain not worthy enough to have received the VM.
And please try to resist the urge to be a dick. Thanks
EDIT: OK, so I've actually had the Vex for quite some time now. I think I got it like 2 days after this post was submitted, just didn't feel like updating. I don't even use it much anymore. Even for the bounty where you have to get 2 fusion rifle kills 20 times I use Pocket Infinity. But thanks for all of you guys' comments and likes. Keep it coming if you may, because there are still plenty who have not had the pleasure of squeezing the trigger on that big ass gun.
EDIT: That's a lot of friggin comments. 566 is the number right now.

3 RepliesI haven't wanted to upgrade my vex. I think I got it on my second ever VoG run. I don't think it's too special but like I said I just haven't up'd it yet

Keep faith I got my 1st last Friday and the fate bringer I only found that I had it as I went back to tower I was happy I got the fate bringer like but that just topped it for me

Its dropped a total of 9 times for me now.

I think I have beaten atheon 5 times and I have gotten two. It's cool to get it but it does kinda ruin the beating atheon feeling. Now when I run the raid I do templar gorgon chest and I'm done. There's a small chance for a exotic but it's just not with it to me

I just got my first Vex last night on the Hard Raid, joined some of my clan mates that we're having trouble at Atheon and after he went down I got the drop I've been waiting for from the VOG

It's crazy that some people still haven't had one after tens of completions. On the other hand though, I've not had one GHorn drop yet or Monte Carlo. The rest I have had multiples of except for Thunderlord. I've only had one of those.

This RNG is getting ridiculous. Just got my 5th vex today (only need the one Bungie) but and still yet to RNG an icebreaker, suros or gjallarhorn. Some other post was claiming he found the vex, gjallarhorn, HoC, fatebringer and more in 1 week of stuffs (raids, nightfalls etc.). I guess that is "random" but it's a bit extreme.

Haven't had the good fortune of being gifted Vex Mythoclast yet, but for me, the one weapon I desire most and have been dying to get is Fatebringer. I'm at the point where I've resigned myself to the likelyhood that I'll never get it, while every single randy that we bring into our raiding party will be gifted it, despite already having received it several times already.

4 RepliesI've only recently joined the ranks of destiny and I'm planning to embark on this quest for the mythological vex. I'll be doing a lot of reading and you tubing of hard mode vog before attempting though. I would hate to be a burden to the team - I like to prepare before entering vog again. I hated running around like a headless chicken. Especially that platform segment, that was downright embarrassing....

I got the Vex from my First hard run, Didnt get anything else the entire raid and was fireteam leader ( by anything I mean only got shards/energy). I enjoy using it having it maxed.

I have 25+ VoG completions and still don't have the Vex Mythoclast.
