The Vex Mythoclast is Truly a Myth
For some(myself included), the "Vex Mythoclast" is indeed a myth. Some are content on not finding it, while others rant, and they have good reason too. I've seen and experienced 14 completions, 39 completions, even hard 50 completions and still nothing of "true" value. I for one can understand the frustration. Especially if you have had the pleasure of witness someone get brought into the end of the raid only to get what some may call Destiny's "ultimate loot". That is obscured, and unreasonable of Bungie to implement this mechanic into Destiny.
I will ask, please share your experiences, whether you were lucky enough, or just plain not worthy enough to have received the VM.
And please try to resist the urge to be a dick. Thanks
EDIT: OK, so I've actually had the Vex for quite some time now. I think I got it like 2 days after this post was submitted, just didn't feel like updating. I don't even use it much anymore. Even for the bounty where you have to get 2 fusion rifle kills 20 times I use Pocket Infinity. But thanks for all of you guys' comments and likes. Keep it coming if you may, because there are still plenty who have not had the pleasure of squeezing the trigger on that big ass gun.

I'm one of the lucky few but don't feel like u need it its terrible now and it sucks. I use it because its the "vex" but I still get spanked in multiplayer with it most days and its not the great in PvE and more either. We need it back to being that one gun people can't stand to get SHOT by.

I have yet to get the VM after 15 hard raids completed. I did get a total of 12 helmets, 9 ships, and 8 sparrows though. After 26 raids ( still need to finish hard on all 3 characters this week) I am only missing VM, FB, and PT along with Titan boots, and hunter gauntlets/chest.

I've completed the raid a total of three times. Twice on normal and once on hard. My two runs on normal granted me chest, leg armor and gloves for my hunter and put me at level 30. First run on hard granted me the VM. I completely agree that this RNG isn't fair and I definitely don't feel like I deserve it after only one try. :/

3 RepliesGot warlock helmet on first hard raid completion. (helmet only drops on hard) Got Vex Mythoclast on second hard raid completion. (only drops on hard) I dont think there is anything else that is hard raid only. Yet I will continue hard raid to increase the chance of a G-Horn drop. THAT is the one I'm after.

I was lucky enough to receive it on my 8th? Or so run. I was playing with dicks that thought they were just the best at raiding. I left and came back on my second to get the save when we made it to the end just incase I didn't get the vex. I ended up getting it on my first run of the week. :D

Some of us get lucky I guess. 9 hard completions, only 6 of them I have gotten loot for and I have 3 mythoclasts. One on both of my warlocks and one shelved away in my vault taking up precious space for the almost two dozen other exotics I have.
