I feel like LOL doesn't mean "laugh out loud" anymore. It's just become shorthand for "that was funny". Only rarely do I actually LOL when I type LOL.

If I actually laughed I will usually type "LOL" in caps, but I use other variations of lol more liberally.
-
Nah usually when I actually start hysterically laughing I'll just say something like "Holy shitballs that was funny"

lolnever.

I had a conversation about this the other day! I feel as though it's just an awkward kind of transitioner, you know what I mean lol
-
Never. I'm laughing on the inside.

Edited by Rynoceros: 11/12/2014 5:33:39 PMI don't type LOL. If something is funny, I laugh. I'm not dishing out a pat on the back because your joke or whatever didn't completely suck. It's almost as despicable as somebody texting back "k" or leaving a VM in this day and age when everybody has caller ID and just saying, "Hey this is (dumbass) call me back." People that say "lulz" and "hashtag(something)" in regular face-to-face conversations should be publicly executed.

I type LOL when I actually laugh at something and lol when I am simply amused.
-
Everybody does that lol

When I actually laugh out loud I type: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA IM -blam!-ING CRYING HAHAHA"
