Exocits are just guns and gear that was used by kabr and his teammates although alot of them are pretty underwhelming due to nerfs and cry babies they tie into the story they are meant to have a meaning as opposed to an edge against its opponent plus a weapon is only good as its user like the picket infinity before the nerf that my friend was an exotic and your idea was pretty cool

They could still tie into the story and have more creative effects, I am not saying they should rework the current exotics because that would arise many problems, just to be more creative in their approach with the new ones. I do have to agree with the user being the real issue, however (not to sound selfish) I am very good at the game, get mvp almost everygame, astounding k/d whatever you get it, and I can tell you I feel they are very uncreative weapons. Not that they are weak, they are just boring for esteemed "the pinnacle of endgame gear".

Yeah like idk if you have ever played borderlands 1 or 2 but... heck some of the non legendaries in that game are more creative than Destiny's exotics xD

Borderlands did have a VERY good rng system way more in depth than Destiny + trading so that was great and a much bigger list of of exotics and super rare weapons called cyan weapons. Literally only ever found 1 after like 200+ hours of gametime.
