I'm working on leveling up my 2nd character (level 26 Warlock). My problem is not with Shards (I have plenty in my vault) and I have plenty of Spinmetal, helium filaments and spirit bloom. What I don't have is friggin' Hadronic Essence. I know you get it from breaking down Warlock armor. I need 25 pieces for each of my pieces of armor just for a single level upgrade. That will take a LONG time of doing Strikes and random missions.
Can anyone share some ideas on ways to get Hadronic Essence quickly (if there is a way)? Wish I could use some of the 500 plus Sapphire Wire parts I have for my Hunter!

2 RepliesEdited by Soats: 11/7/2014 3:29:54 PMI had the opposite problem lol 600 hardonic essence and no sapphire wire. Well anyway, what I did I just go farming materials on chest runs. You're getting the materials you needed anyway, and also a bunch of random greens from chests that you can just dismantle. When your done go to the cryptarch and buy his green engrams to dismantle. (Some of them will turn white, and be useless, just so you know). Also, save up all your engrams in your vault and give them to whatever character needs to dismantle stuff.

1 ReplyJust run Tiger strikes. 4-5 tigers should give enough shit to dismantle that you never have to worry about it again. Really surprised that you're having this problem.

2 RepliesEdited by ewiz06: 11/7/2014 1:04:13 PMThanks everyone for your replies. I actually spent a few thousand glimmer yesterday. The green engrams cost 250 and you randomly get either 1 or 2 Hadronic Esscence. I don't know why I hate seeing my glimmer go below 20,000 though, so I didn't buy a lot. Guess it's time for me to open my wallet and spend 10 to 15,000 on these engrams!

2 RepliesStrikes and buy the cheap (400 glimmer) armor from the vanguard and dismantle it. You'll get 1 or 2 per piece.
-
3 RepliesPlay strikes on your op character or one your warlock. If you play on your op character give all your engrams to the warlock

YouTube - "loot cave" - just sayin' ;-) (and no I don't mean loot cave 1.0 that was patched - there's now 16 or more "replacements" and I know for a fact that one of them is very very good indeed!. You should easily get 40+ green/blue in an hour (probably more) and if some break to 1 and some to 2 hadronic then call it an average 1.5 so 60 hadronic (and some reasonable glimmer) per hour).

1 ReplyI use to be in a similar position, I am no longer in a position where I am lacking material, this is what I did: Any armor engrams vault and decrypyt with the character that needs the material. Always go chest farming with the character that needs materials. Play Tiger Strikes when possible with the character that needs material.

Big thanks to my bubby Rahool. Spend a few thousand glimmer on the green engrams (he didn't have any blue) and all I got was about 10 damm Warlock bonds.
-
3 RepliesWait!? Have you been breaking down any armor at all that is anything less than blue!? I have almost 2000 essence. At level 26 you should have a couple hundred

Strikes.. Tiger strikes

2 RepliesBuy green armor engrams at the crypto and dismantle.

Hope you have lotsa glimmer! Buy a bunch of rare (blues) armor & dismantle them.

Buy green armor engrams from Rahool. He sells them periodically. Tiger strike playlist also guarantees you 2 blue engrams, plus you might pick a couple up during the strike as well. I had a lot of trouble getting sapphire wire for my Hunter when I started a second character. It took a little bit to build up a stockpile of that shit.
