Never rely on purple engrams. Join a faction get points for that faction and buy the armor. Whether its vanguard, crucible, new monarchy, future war cult, or dead orbit pick one you want to level and earn points for so you can get your legendaries. Afterwards start running Raids, Tiger Strikes, and daily/weekly activities like Nightfall to further earn you new gear and weapons.

Edited by The Art of Vore: 11/6/2014 7:38:21 PMProblem is I can't get ANYTHING legendary, only legendary stuff I have are 3 shaders two from codes and one from iron banner, and materials. And I won't be able to do anything difficult without a legendary of some sort.

I got all my legendary gear from doing Vanguard stuff. I'm a 27 now.
