Some people here and there complain that pulse rifles are underpowered but have never touched this bad boy. Red Death is like the Battle Rifle from Halo but better. Takes 2 complete headshots to kill and 3 for body. Plus the Red Death upgrade restores your health back and increases reload after every kill. I can't wait to test this bad boy in the Iron Banner. See ya :D
Haven't gone negative once.
"Vanguard policy urges Guardians to destroy this weapon on sight. It is a Guardian Killer."

3 RepliesRed death isn't very good at all The rate of fire and accuracy is terrible
-
i love my red death. I've used a couple of times in PvP and havn't had any luck. Now i'm not horrible at PvP but i wouldn't say i'm skilled either. Just good rounds here and there and getting out classed here and there. I prefer a scout rifle at the moment. When i did use Red Death i found myself have to put 3-4 bursts to drop a guy. 3-4 connecting bursts. The scout rifle i'm using is VoC...i love being able to dance and shoot...that is how i beat suros users...shuffle left shuffle right t-bag

1 ReplyI use Red Death a lot but for a very good alternative try Fair and Square, it has similar but slightly better stats and lowers grenade cooldown on kill.
-
3 RepliesI wrecked players last Iron Banner with this weapon. I'm trying to level Last Word to bring to IB now

3 RepliesEdited by Discreet Dinner: 11/3/2014 9:25:02 PMI've always told my friends that it's a real Guardian Killer. Anyone noticed that it's a pulse rifle, but with the frame of an auto rifle?

I love the Red Death - maxed that bad boy out and I can handle most scenarios easily due to the regen abilities. Makes my hunter, even in a group of mobs, practically invincible

I honestly loved Red Death I just can't weild it the way you do so it sits in my inventory looking pretty. I like my Fair and Square though :3

1 ReplyEdited by Reckless27: 11/4/2014 4:37:03 PMhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHlidn0Ul0U yup i did a review on it. (Damn, signed into the wrong email again - this is not my usual bnet profile) It's definitely all I use in the crucible. Rarely do bad with it but it has it's flaws. I Outgun suros regimes with it quite often. It demands that the user adjust to it's playstyle, and it's only good if the user is good. It won't carry a player like the suros will. If a mediocre player is using it, it will be very ineffective which is why I like it. You don't see it often in the crucible because of this. But in the right hands, a user who's hands aren't tense, sweaty, and disciplined the gun is a monster.

Pulse rifles in general aren't all that great

1 ReplyHad Red Death for a while...it's a Beast!

-
How did you get it?
-
Gee , its a good thing you posted this. Now people have something new to whine about.......
-
Try the time piece fire rate is better, if your in rumble then red death
-
I wish the rate of fire was a little faster.
-
1: That is not a secret gun.......... 2: I've got to use it. meh, I'd still rather use a HC.

thats the very weapon i am searching for, im saving my strange coins for it :)
-

2 RepliesGot mine from the raid last week. I concur that it's amazing, I've been very successful in PVP with it.

4 RepliesThe main problem is how good the Suros is... It gives you health back and has better damage, accuracy and range... I don't mind the red death, just it is in an awkward spot.
