It's really easy to blame the class seperation as "OMG THE UPPERCLASS IS 2 OP" but in reality they're not, we'll at least not to the extent that you're making it out to be. There's dozens of other vairables that play a role in the rich staying rich and powerful but not to the point where the lower and middle class have no power. Things like voter apathy have a tremendous effect on the misrepresentation of classes in politics. tl;dr. Politics is immensely complicated and can't just be summed up in basic terms.
