It would be nice if we knew anything about the city. Anything. We know there's a city down there, it's the last human city, we protect it. But we have not seen a single piece of it. Not even in cutscenes. I know some stuff was cut from the game due to time constraints, but this is a massive drag on the player investment/ immersion factor. Was there absolutely nothing they could show us? Was anything even made for the city? Time will tell, hopefully.

I would have rather then taken another year to put this game out if it meant being complete..

Same here. Kick it back as much as you need to. Put it in next-gen consoles only. Whatever. Maybe for Destiny 2.

I wonder if they are holding it back for Destiny 2 when they can finally ditch the prev gen consoles. Maybe they have a grand vision for an open-world type city map. And also if they ever do announce a City zone then there will be so much anticipation. Letting everyone see it from a distance is tantalising.

I wondered if releasing it on the older consoles affected their ability to get everything into the game. Most of the early ads were Xbone, so I was planning on buying one just for Destiny. But when I heard it would be on all avail consoles, I just got it for 360 to save money.

I think from a business perspective they undoubtedly had to cater for older consoles to build a large user base. It should pay off in the long run as if there's enough players they can continue to throw resources behind the franchise and also branch into true MMO gameplay I got it for the 360 but my old hard drive couldn't handle it so i ended up buying an xbone just for this lol. haven't even opened the other game i got yet (shadows of mordor)
