Learn it or GTFO. Sick of these noobs trying to join VOG hard and cant use the relic. WTF nerds
Edit: Im more patient with people in normal mode because i understand they may be new to raid. But when they get to hard they need to kno the relic or they are leaching.
Getting more support then i thought. Keep it going and maybe these leaches will learn!

I'm a bit more tolerant, but I must insist that at least 4 people must know how to use the relic. That way there will always be a member of the portal team who can use it.

4 RepliesPeople who do not know how to use the relic need to learn in normal mode. It's actually really simple to learn, especially if you can manage to take someone with you that's willing to teach. A few wipes later and you should have it down pat. I offered my help all last week and weekend to bring new players through the VoG on normal on PS4. I had a grand total of 8 replies. 3 of which were teams that needed a 30 for Atheon on hard. People complain on these forums constantly that no one will show them the VoG. I offered, very few replied. If you won't help yourself, don't expect others to hold your hand.

I've only used it a few times because I'm not the highest level guy in the raid, but I would feel like an ass if I tried hard mode and didn't know how to use it.
-
Hate that too. Have a good buddy that just refuses to learn. Like wtf dude. It's not hard. Learn it and stfu
-
I agree. I actually don't care if you are lvl 29 or 30, but at least know how to do its basic functions instead of running around the relic asking "WHO GUN GRAB EET?"
-
I'm amazing with the relic but in my hard experience level 29s shouldn't take the relic
-
It's not like it's hard... Hit the grenade to cleanse, overhead smash everything you see. Pretty simple.

calm your sentimental sensitive ass up little bitch

2 RepliesEdited by Hollywoodtragedy018: 11/19/2014 8:58:31 PMI used to be super patient with people even on hard raid but I swear on ps3. I'm consistently running into this problem or with people who don't upgrade their weapons/running non Oracle weapons.

I agree with this post

Don't you just press the "x" button on the xbox one controller while standing next to it? Sounds simple to me.

5 RepliesMy friends and I did the normal raid last week for the first time. The random teleporting was killing us :( We had a few guys that just shouldn't pick it up. I have watched videos with people using the relic as a weapon. Does anyone know what buttons do what you are holding it (Xbox One)? Would love to pass it along to my friends. Thanks to anyone who replies!

2 RepliesI dont think its a matter or learning relic. Its easy. You're facing a problem of bad leadership or bad strategy. What generally happens is some weird aggressive individual is always on the mic barking generic micromanager bs and bringing moral down. What you need to do is delegate. For instance, when you're up to the atheon part...instead of saying if you're in the portal only high levels pick up relic, have tiers delegating before hand. Tier one is two people that pick up relic instantly. Tier two are people who do a two count and pick up relic, tier three either dont pick up relic or do four count, depending on what you split it up. So if you had like two 30s and 4 29s. Say two 30s pick up instantly if ported. If two 29s are more experienced then put say tier two and pick it up after two second count incase slight delay of lvl and not aware of whos in. And the other two dont pick up. Then you wont be the angry aggressive complaining about people not knowing how to use a relic as if thats the problem. The problem is delegation sir. Leadership. Now learn something

Signed it took me one night a few rounds to get that shit down now I'm a monster and I'll pick it up anytime.

I think inexperienced players prob. Have a buddy who has done the hard raid many times and gives them the oracles save. They run oracles from spawn, push off the templar and feel like "man, this isn't so hard" and then get to gatekeeper/Atheon and get smoked. Any shooters can run oracles thru gatekeeper. It's the confluxes, gate, Atheon that require some skill and teamwork! I am not an elitist and help run friends thru the raid each and every week but to not spend the whole night on the raid (hard) you need players with experience and maxed out guns(raid/void).

Edited by JG WENTWORTH 877 CASH NOW: 11/19/2014 9:08:18 PMI didn't know that usually getting the most kills on my raid team while usually dying the least while never saying a word is leeching. Edit: Spelling mistake

1 ReplyWith an attitude like that I sure as hell wouldn't want to group with you anyways. You sound like a real a-hole.

Edited by Spawn_osk: 11/19/2014 8:59:15 PMBe nice if you linked some youtube vids for relic 101...or then again why should you...NVM.

When I'm the only hunter that gets teleported, everyone just looks at me like "pick it up." Lololol.

I have a friend who is 30 Titan, he refuses to pick up the relic. Needless to say, I refuse to bring him a hard raid anymore.

8 RepliesAs much of an asshole you just portrayed yourself as, I have to agree, cheesing created bum ass inexperienced lvl 30's who don't even know all of the raid and have only had others push Atheon off. And for all you saying that he, or anyone really, is an asshole for not teaching you it's actually up to YOU to learn how to do things. Educate yourself. I sucked using the relic the first time but they let me pick it up and got so used to it that I NEVER die with it now. Both on normal AND hard. You guys act like such toddler -blam!-. No one is gonna baby you through everything. Carry your own weight, assholes.

2 RepliesEdited by BillClinton69x: 11/7/2014 6:06:51 AMThe way I see it: The normal raid is used for learning, so first timers can get a feel for it. You don't need to know shit to start it, you just have to learn it. The hard raid is for experienced raiders who know what to do. You should all know your roles by heart at that point. Doing the hard raid for your first one is leeching imo.

2 RepliesEdited by splattherpunk: 11/7/2014 5:58:10 AMThis is why I'm not doing hard until I'm 30. I've completed the raid two times out of four. The first run was hard. Second run was just meh, third was tough and I learned the relic there. Fourth, piece of cake. Hard mode? Not until 30, I'm no douche:)

2 RepliesEverything the OP said is valid. Don't play hard mode if you don't know how to use relic. Before it didn't matter because you could have a dedicated relic holder, now not so much. Since it is random, everyone needs to be at least decent and competent with the relic. If you aren't, you will make the raid harder for everyone including yourself. Practice with it in normal, then go to hard mode.
