For people who say they like the thorn you guys must really suck.. with regular weapons.. because you need an OP weapon to be able to do anything. Wow and telling people to boost your even worse then I thought. Wow kids can't play games like I used to. no skill in this generation no skill you guys wouldn't last on digdug or centipede or any of the old arcade games. Oh that's right because there is no OP weapon to choose from and you can't hack an arcade system.. No skills in this community no skill

Wow dude, the United States Air Force must really suck since they use air to ground missiles. They're OP. Why don't they just use normal weapons, like machine guns? You are a fuking tool.

Its a 2hit kill from ranges that MANY scout rifles dream it could kill with 4 headshots so I don't understand how people say its not OP. It also only takes a little practice to get headshots with HC bc of how strong aim assist is in Destiny. I don't think the damage or poison should be nerfed but the range on it is ridiculous. I headshot somebody with a scout rifle across the map and they lose about a quarter health while when they turn around and headshot me once I'm near death and poisoned

You must be really bad. Bad as in having a 0.0 k/d. Thorn is not op. It takes a lot of skill to use unlike the suros. Its a three shot without mark of the devourer two with it. Its exotic, go find yourself a nice little auto rifle a try to hit a wall.

I just managed to finish the thorn bounty and I can tell you it's not a skill less weapon, hand cannons only do there best when you get a head shot and as you only have iron sites, no zoom or scope that's easier said than done. By the way I'm 40 so I come from the pong generation and been with games from the beginning

Hand cannons have a high learning curve in pve and pvp alike. They are some of the most rewarding weapons to use but very unforgiving in the hands of the wrong user. Most people who pwn in the crucible with a hand cannon have worked at building their skill with one for a long time. Furthermore, pvp noobs stick to assault rifles(suros regime). I understand that the Thorn is powerful, but few would call it overpowered. The chances of you meeting a skillled player with thorn are slim. Out of all the players I've met in the crucible who wield Thorn, only one has really posed a challenge. Yes I died over and over, but he earned those kills.

Not knowing how to deal with something "OP"=no skill, I thought us old arcade gamers learnt to *ADAPT* as there were no weekly patches back in the day to fix " OP" stuff on games. If you can't deal with thorn and need to call it OP to feel better about yourself, you must really suck at videogames.

It's not OP. Hand Cannons take a lot of skill to use, if you miss ONE shot, you're done.

Amen to this. And honestly, your shots that hit need to be headshots or there's a good chance you're dead. Thorn's DOT mitigates this a bit, but I still wouldn't call it OP.

Lol you're crazy I just got thorn and its pretty hard to use in PvP. I do way better with my Mida multi tool or my auto rifle.

Its not OP, I kill people slower with thorn than with an auto rifle.
