I'm starting my last character which will be the warlock, I will be focusing on recovery mostly as it's the warlocks best trait but what weapons work best for this build type? I was thinking of using red death pulse rifle.

It really depends on your armor, the bonuses that your armor gives would be the best guide for which weapon you should use. Hunters tend to get bonuses to AR's and Pulse Rifles. Most warlock armor gives bonuses to Scout Rifles and hand cannons.

1 ReplyEh... You're not limited to certain guns when you chose your class, all classes can use all guns the same way. I personally like Hand Cannons and Auto Rifles. Emphasis on 'personally'.

Well considering there is literally no synergy between classes and weapons, the answer is: Whatever weapon you are best with. I'm serious. There's no passive boosts to anything, no interesting stats that apply between weapons and classes. It's literally the exact same shooting experience with each class. So the best weapon for a warlock? That only depends on what weapon you shoot the best with.

Autorifle.....its the easiest to use and generally most effective.
I personally only use the AR cause I don't have a legendary HC yet.
The devil you know handcannon from vangaurd icebreaker/patience time random rocket launcher with tracking or switch the handcannon for the vex or suros then use the raid sniper

Nothing too close range for warlocks since their melee is longest range

3 RepliesI've been using the Universal Remote and fusion rifle with my Sunsinger. The shield Scorch melee keeps me alive at close range, glide with the speed boost can be used as a quick boost forward, Angel of Light lets me jump above people and shotty them from above, and Fireborn is there as a backup plan if I die. It's an interesting alternative from my hand cannon / sniper hunter.

27 RepliesThere is no best weapon, they are situational, dumb question.

Red death is awesome on any character.
