Better question. If man was made in Gods image, does God have a belly button?

Copy and pasted from another thread: https://www.jashow.org/wiki/index.php/Genesis_1:26-27_-_Are_we_%22Little_Gods%22_and_Other_Misinterpretations I read somewhere that this is a misinterpretation, people view it as, God created humans to look like him when in reality, He created humans that reflect his virtues and rationale, we were made with God-like attributes, not looks necessarily All Genesis 1:26-27 is teaching is that humanity was created in God’s image or likeness in the sense that a human being is a finite reflection of God in rational nature (Col. 3:10), in moral nature (Eph. 4:24), and in dominion over creation (Gen. 1:27-28). In the same way that the moon reflects the brilliant light of the sun, so finite humanity (as created in God’s image) is a limited reflection of God in these aspects. This could mean that God looks like something intangible to human perception, which would make sense for any divine being, with the assumption he exists, to appeal to both parties. So he most likely doesn't.
