If they added trading, most of the rng loot issues would be solved.

Mostly yea, I agree. However, I can see the reason why they did it: They want you to earn everything you wear. It's a honor thing.
-
There's no honor in random... Plus, if i trade, it would have to be for something of equal or more value to the other player. So it would still have to be something decent that I'm trading, even though I don't want it. So you're still 'earning' your gear. You just have to find someone to shelve it off to :P
-
Would be hard to say sometimes just what is equal value. Saw a guy who had a Shadow Price with Field scout perk, some random perk weapons are better that the standard ones. Hard for a trading system to deal with. Deej said they are working on an economy, but didn't say if it is trade with players or npc's.

-
lol, that's the reality of it. What I meant is that's what they intended for it.
-
I totally understand why there isn't trading. Hell, I like that everyone has earned all their gear one way or another, but adding player trades is the easiest way to fix the broken rng system
-
Honestly it would be even easier for them to code trading (probably). I'm going to talk about that in part three or four (depending on how i want to do it, most likely part four).
-
I agree trading would be good. Even if they implement an option to trade with vendors rather than other players.
-
That would depend on wether or not the offerings of NPC's were worth it.
-
Exactly it prevents the MMO trade spamming messages. And would solve the issue of wanting a faction item, but not playing crucible.
-
You can trade recourses instead at the crucible robot to get crucible marks.

If they had a section for that in the forums, decent moderation, then there would be no problem with it...........
