I believe so. According to reddit. You cant have any deaths in your end game stats.

If you die as a Sunsinger, but revive yourself, does that still count as a death? I assume it does, but thought I'd ask. Well played on getting the trophy, though. It's one of those that I can see being the breaker of friendships. It'd be awful to be the guy that dies near the end.
