E3 2k13 never forget
Let's take time to look through the trailer and pick out the lies and content that was cut
2:20- "all of this is playable space" "we could go there now"
3:23- ship flies in from orbit, dropping off player rather then just spawning in the designated spot
7:42- bosses drop loot
8:25- guns have actual talent trees
10:15- skybox gets changed by incoming ships
12:30- beginning of trailer showing a bunch of the cut story

I can't even finish watching this Just depressing me and pissing me off

TURN BACK 4....3....
-
What's the difference between a talent tree and what we have right now?
-
Did anyone noticed that the ship travels in the deep space when moving from earth to moon and viceversa? XD
-
2:20 - "we hope to take you there someday" 3:23 - would having this animation really satisfy you? 7:42 - why they didn't go with this, idk, but it's a design change that happens to MANY games as they go through their development. 8:25 - that gun does not have an actual talent tree. That is a singular path that looks to not give the player ANY choice at all. 10:15 - that actually does happen when you first create your character and walk into the area for the first time 12:30 - they probably didn't release all the story to hold back some for the rest of the game's cycle. Was it a mistake showing it? Yes, but one I'm willing to forgive. It's like a preview for a movie accidentally showing a deleted scene.

Right in the feelings. RIP our beloved game.
-
soooooooooooooooooooooooo old
-
Your parents told you santa claus was real. Are you still mad at them? #getoverit
-
What I don't understand is why it isn't as aesthetically pleasing now, as it was then. The skill trees are pretty much exactly the same on the weapons, and armor...yet the layout of it is COMPLETELY different, and the old layout looks much cooler. So what the hell, was there a budget cut? Or was the designer just too damn lazy?

Keep spreading this around!! Expose them! I've been doing the same thing
-
I see pretty minor changes. If this is a troll, I'd give a 10/10
-
Now I could be mistaken, but I believe on the first mission to Venus your ship actually drops you on the planet surface.

Edited by Pr3sTiGe X: 10/20/2014 11:45:30 PMCan i preorder now? release date? Edit: Lets find Staten! What game is he working one now!? lol
-
Some good points. Here's my 2 cents. 2:29 - "...that we hope one day, we'll get to send you to." (That statement right there admits what we were looking at was not going to be in the game.) And the guns probably have the same talent tree perks, they're just laid out differently in the final build. That is all.

Could easily try a class lawsuit for misleading promotional content but then again they woukd win the case lol

Using knuclehead exotic at level 5, dat hacker
-
Dude this game looks sick. When is it coming out?
-
Reminder that most of us don't care
-
They also lied because the bosses health bar was red....those -Blam-ers....calm your tits man
-
They didn't lie, please believe me, in the citadel glitch you can go almost anywhere that doesn't have an edge, Activison probably didn't want to spend more money on fleshing out they other parts and adding stuff just so we can a little more space. I mean they spent quite a bit of money.

I like this game. I play it daily. It is fun for sure...but I have to say "all of this is playable space" is way..way... Waaaayyy misleading. I have given up on exploring the world because of all the invisible walls. The thing that I loved most about halo was it did a really good job of hiding the invisible boundaries of the world...it made it seem like we could go anywhere. In destiny, when I see a structure and a way that I might be able to climb it, I don't even try. I know halfway up...or worse yet at the top.. I'll be stopped by an invisible wall. It sucks, its my main complaint. Random loot system, I can deal.... No chat, I don't like griefers either.... No trading or selling, I get it could damage the economy of the game...but invisible walls??? I thought this was next gen gaming...not metroid.

It's like we're still playing the beta of the game they advertised. We probably are except we had to pay 60 bucks for it instead of getting paid for game testing
