Fastest way to Level Up
What is it, im trying to level my alt in less time than my main, which took forever to reach 20

Sword of Crota mission, kill 2 of the swarm princes which give a fair bit of xp out, let the 3rd o ne kill you... repeat process as much as you like... plus its always fun using that sword.

Complete campaign from start to finish on hard. Get a higher level friend to help as you'll be under levelled the whole way. Plus do all available bounties in PvP. Took me 10 hours yesterday to get from 0-20 then 2 mins to get to 26.

Quit and come back when its free to play.. then you can prolly buy a max lvl hurry pack for 2 $

2 RepliesDo all bounties everyday. Do story missions on hardest level (if you haven't done them already) patrol cosmodrone. Each kill is 30xp in PVE compared to the 60ish (headshot bonuses and stuff add like 10 only in PVP) but the volume of kills you can get in patrol compared to PVP or any other game mode is huge you can even do patrol missions on the side as an added boost. Once you get of level I recommend doing the nightfall first thing every Tuesday as this will give you a 25% boost to xp and reputation for the remainder of the week. There are plenty of solo strategies you can find on YouTube just be patient with them.

9 RepliesI did it through bounties, but I am a 3rd shifter and could use the "stay logged in at day turn and do bounties twice" trick. Only the Vampires and EU players know THAT one...

Also any legendary or rare engrams you get on your main put in the vault and let your secondary decrypt them at level 20 so you can get better gear faster. Got a warlock to 28 in 3- 4 days doing story, bounties, daily, nightfall weekly and strikes.

Strikes, bounties, and the Crucible all offer bonus XP. An easier way is to grind out patrol missions.

It seems the general consensus is do bounties and get a friend to run me through all the missions on hard, so Ill do that tomorrow.

Main story on hard takes 2-3ish hours to rank from a 1 to 18. Just grab a buddy who is high level and run through as high as you can.
