What is your favorite PvP gun Post-Patch?
Title. I have taken to using the Super Pox VLO and jeez does it dominate at mid range. Scout rifles are also pretty effective now it would seem. People are still mostly running Auto Rifles though from what I can tell.
Have you noticed any huge changes in community weapon choices? What's your current favorite? Still using a SUROS? Or have you moved to bigger and better things?

I dont have a last word or hawkmoon.. (sad face) but suros will always be an option.. vex is decent, I really like red death actually

Depends on map and game mode. Last word users are running riot on rumble matches and vision of confluence has also taken up a slot in a lot of players arsenal. Depends on game mode and distance......

4 RepliesEdited by LimitTester: 10/18/2014 4:09:54 AMStill using Suros mainly but, I'll be looking elsewhere soon. Shadow Price/Suros/Grim Citizen...they all kinda became shit after the update. Headshots used to be 43 dmg, now they're 29 (lower mag dmg not included). That's about 45% dmg nerf.

Not to get too much hate but I can't tell the difference. I hate using auto rifles because the kills feel empty. I'm still getting killed half way across the map by auto's but still prefer to play scout, hand cannon, pulse rifles. I have noticed that playing with thorn can add a bit more strategy to the game play flow. If I'm wanting to hold a choke point and firing rounds at people and winging them they tend to not proceed forward with a face to face encounter but then tend to try and flank me where I have team mates covering my back. Kind of makes for a lower KDR but an overall more strategic/rewarding victory :)

2 RepliesSame as before - Hawkmoon or The Last Word, depending on how I feel like playing. I have to admit that I'm seeing very little change in people's playstyle post-patch despite the waves of tears that have broken over the forum this week. I still get killed mostly by shotguns at stupid ranges (wtf, Invisible Hand???) and want to punch [b]myself[/b] in the face for not adapting sooner. If it isn't a shotgun, it's an auto-rifle. I rarely, if ever, look up to see that I was just taken by a scout rifle; on occasion, I have the privilege of sharing the map with another hand cannon user. Same as last weekend.

Post-patch has been a totally long range game. If not long range then shotguns. Other than that, I don't really see a mid range weapon really dominating the playing field.

I've not changed anything. Still Shadow Price, Invective, and BFF 2.0 Just had to get accustomed to the debuffs, which wasn't hard. Lol

I've been seeing a lot more scout/pulse rifles (that means like 1 or 2 every 17 matches) and handcannons are becoming more popular Maybe eventually we will have people using guns to fit their playstyle instead of trying to fit around a gun.

I've been running with this gun nearly since launch and even after the patch it doesn't let me down. As far as secondarys go, I prefer shotguns and even after the patch my Found Verdict is an absolute beast. Two days ago I killed 4 players with one clip, nuff said. I would love to get my hands on Plan C, The Last Word, Hawkmoon, Visions of Confluence, Suros Regime, Zombie Apocalypse and Shadow Price.Those guns seem really beastly in pvp just to list a few. Hope that helps!

Looking for vision of confluence currently. Got both fate bringer and Atheons epilogue. Want to see if scout rifles are any better after the buff. Seems a lot of people like vision of confluence.

Once you have it leveled up to where it instantly reloads with a kill, that gun is just so damn good absolutly love it! Havent used the scout rifle since the update but absolutly hated them before it. Thought they were gonna be my go too gun but was disapointed in how they felt when you handled them. Much rather use a hand cannon the the scout rifle anyday.
