Good tips, helpful post. I've got a comment on the little nab about [b]Armor[/b], [b]Recovery[/b], and [b]Agility[/b] though. Doesn't the Crucible disregard [b]Armor[/b] stats - both the defense level and the bar category in your subclass - to level the playing field? "[u]Level advantages disabled"[/u] I'm certain it does, or else maxed out subclasses against lower levels would be an extremely difficult kill and vice versa. Building your attributes for maximum [b]Recovery[/b] and [b]Agility[/b] would be more successful advice.
Again, good post! This is how the community should respond to aspects of the game.
Edit: After reviewing this comment, I realized [b]Recovery[/b] and [b]Agility[/b] wouldn't matter since they too are [u]Level advantages[/u]. Everyone is the same in the Crucible regarding stats (health, movement speed, recovery) so both pieces of advice are nill. (:

They normalise it to make it fair. But there is still a noticeable difference between full agility and low agility etc.
