It's so confusing when someone joins a fireteam with a female character and ends up being a dude (*cue Aerosmith*).
Do they all just want the D? But seriously, can any guys who do this shed some light on.. why?
I feel like someone pulled an Oprah, "You get a female warlock, and YOU get a female warlock! Everyone gets female warlocks!"
Edit: Jesus H. Christopher, I'm curious. I've noticed this quite often since I started playing, and I can't answer this question for myself, so I wanted some insight. inb4more "why do you even caaaaare?!!1!?!?"
Edit again: holy -blam!-, I'm a girl. Hence why I don't have insight to why this happens.
Edit, take three: thanks to everyone who gave a legitimate answer! I appreciate the insight :-)

Second there is a standing myth of a smaller hit box due to a smaller frame. Even if this is true the difference is small. Thirdly I myself played a male character on destiny, but typically with MMO games it's not first person. If I'm going to be staring at a characters ass for hours, then I'd rather that ass be a female. Even if it's just cartoon. Edit: also the gear does look better on a warlock female vs a male.
