It's so confusing when someone joins a fireteam with a female character and ends up being a dude (*cue Aerosmith*).
Do they all just want the D? But seriously, can any guys who do this shed some light on.. why?
I feel like someone pulled an Oprah, "You get a female warlock, and YOU get a female warlock! Everyone gets female warlocks!"
Edit: Jesus H. Christopher, I'm curious. I've noticed this quite often since I started playing, and I can't answer this question for myself, so I wanted some insight. inb4more "why do you even caaaaare?!!1!?!?"
Edit again: holy -blam!-, I'm a girl. Hence why I don't have insight to why this happens.
Edit, take three: thanks to everyone who gave a legitimate answer! I appreciate the insight :-)

I'd rather listen to a girls voice all day then a guy to bad you can't see sexy curves
-
Why does I matter it's just cosmetics
-
Tits > man nipples
-
I like the way my hips wiggle
-
Because variety
-
I'm a girl playing a girl character lol
-
Female chart just looks better my opinion.
-
Only my Titan because male Titans look terrible.
-
2 RepliesOne reason for me: My female characters are loosely based off of RWBY xD
-
I only have one female characters and that's a Titan because I don't like how male Titans have to look like an oversized brick.
-
Because having three exo males would have been overkill. Secondly, hunters just feel like girl characters. Thirdly, read a book; your grammar is insulting young lady.
-
It gives me chub

6 RepliesIf I'm gonna stare at a character it'll be a chicks ass not a dudes
-
1 ReplyIts the same as any game with a strong female lead character. Just this time you get to make your own.
-
Couldn't tell you female as well here xD I refuse to say I'm a girl I hate it when ppl are like "guy in real life" and calling myself a woman or lady makes me feel old
-
In every game, I main a male, I am a male. My first although is always a female. Most likely to prove to myself that I'm not sexist, sometimes for lore (certain classes just make more sense to be female (again, some sexism here)) and at the same time, I just get tired a of staring at a guys ass all day, it's nice to see a nice boots on the screen sometimes.

I made my hunter a female because I always play as a male in other RPG's so I thought I'd switch it up, my warlock was made by a friend and she made my warlock female and with the titan I made it a male, got bored restarted and made it female
-
I made 3 female guardians, because I can, I also thought at the time of creating them that they would have a smaller hit box like the female characters in Gears of War. There is no difference in male to female hit box
-
Why do some of you boys have so much interest as to why guys would use females as their avatars?
-
Didn't know what I was doing and how to change it to a bloke at first and my first character ended up being a chick
-
Who stares at a butt while they play Destiny...it's all right you all crave to be Caitlyn and that is all right.
-
This really needs to die lol

Edited by Chance_Delaney: 10/8/2015 7:01:58 PMI did it for shits and giggles. I mean why not, right? But really though… I think a large group of people do it just for the aspect that it's something different. Many RPG roles are directed around male characters so its a change of pace I assume.
-
To be honest, I didn't want to spend 1,200 hours staring at a dude's rear end.

Edited by ConnorCT10: 10/8/2015 6:47:39 PMI have 3 characters Male Female Robot I agree a guy should not have 3 female characters but who cares if they do
-
The only male character I have is my titan, I just don't like the way male characters look, But for real.
Dat booty.
