It's so confusing when someone joins a fireteam with a female character and ends up being a dude (*cue Aerosmith*).
Do they all just want the D? But seriously, can any guys who do this shed some light on.. why?
I feel like someone pulled an Oprah, "You get a female warlock, and YOU get a female warlock! Everyone gets female warlocks!"
Edit: Jesus H. Christopher, I'm curious. I've noticed this quite often since I started playing, and I can't answer this question for myself, so I wanted some insight. inb4more "why do you even caaaaare?!!1!?!?"
Edit again: holy -blam!-, I'm a girl. Hence why I don't have insight to why this happens.
Edit, take three: thanks to everyone who gave a legitimate answer! I appreciate the insight :-)

Why the -blam!- not?
-
Its just a fking character in Destiny Male characters are easier to hit I pref to stare on a womans body instead of a male one
-
For that exact reason... To make people think... Or maybe they just like the way the armor looks... Or maybe is psychological... Or maybe...

I have 2 male characters, and a Female Hunter. Reasoning? Because I like to pretend that there is a story behind my characters when I play the game. She is a strong hunter who is good with a gun. Plus I like to feel the whole aspect of the game, male, female, Exo, human, Awoken, Hunter, Titan, and Warlock
-
I have one of each race one of each class and a female so I can use everything that is offered in the game
-
Its catfish
-
When I play third person, I would rather look at a female butt than a male one I accidentally made my warlock a male, and I can't switch it ;~;

Easy answer I'm a nerd.

Well
fap fap fap
It's because I'm a guy, simple answer. I mean it's obvious, no reason to wonder really.

Smaller hit box, gear looks better

Oh look this thread again

1 ReplyMy Titan is only female cause of that sick Exo dance.

Variety. I have two males (warlock and hunter) and my Titan is a female. You ask why, I ask why not.

5 RepliesIn games with multiple characters, I always make one based on my wife. She's not a gamer, but she likes to follow along with the story of "her" character, and I'm happy to tell her. Around Christmas last year, we were at dinner with three other couples. All of us guys were talking about VoG and how we wanted to run it that weekend. One of my friend's wives broke off the ladies' conversation to interject something about how my buddy had better have this and that done before he went raiding with us, and that she didn't care if "that spirit bloom won't find itself" (hilarious). Before anyone could even process what she just spouted at my buddy, my wife looks at him and says "it's ok, I have a Vex and just scored a Gally from the nightfall, I'll get my hunter to pull you through. You don't need all that spirit bloom, I got you". Everyone was stunned silent while she just sipped her wine. Mind you, she has no clue what any of that meant, but she's paying attention, and for that, I will always run at least one female character when I can. That buddy of mine? No longer playing Destiny. Poor guy.

I just like how the female character model looks in comparison to the male character model. The males look super broad, and I'm not a fan of how they all look like they are the crimson chin.
-
Because exos suck so I rather have a male human, male awoken and female human

Hey Sugar, take a walk on the wild side, I said, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side.

I prefer the female dance in this game :) that's all

Edited by Senescha7: 10/8/2015 8:54:00 PMWell, in my Hunters case: I wanted to create a new character for TTK. My wife is an amazing woman who's both understanding and patient with my gaming hobby. She's even supported it and asked questions about it. She understands my passion. Anyways, to honor her for that, I decided to make a character that looked most like her. I would have stuck with a human female but the Awoken face I found looked more like her. So I gave the character the most human like features (minus the glowing eyes [that was for fun - since Awoken don't have green eyes]) & wallah! My wife, the Awoken Huntress. :) P.S. It adds a little variety to the cosmetics. Which I like.

I figured would I rather look at a dude for hours on end or a woman. No brainer in my opinion. LOL

I'd rather listen to a girls voice all day then a guy to bad you can't see sexy curves
