Why do so many guys play as female characters?
It's so confusing when someone joins a fireteam with a female character and ends up being a dude (*cue Aerosmith*).
Do they all just want the D? But seriously, can any guys who do this shed some light on.. why?
I feel like someone pulled an Oprah, "You get a female warlock, and YOU get a female warlock! Everyone gets female warlocks!"
Edit: Jesus H. Christopher, I'm curious. I've noticed this quite often since I started playing, and I can't answer this question for myself, so I wanted some insight. inb4more "why do you even caaaaare?!!1!?!?"
Edit again: holy -blam!-, I'm a girl. Hence why I don't have insight to why this happens.

I've always wanted to model who I am in a way I'm a male play as a male. But I could see like maybe fathers trying to get there daughters into games or something play as a female and then there's the desperate dudes who make there "dream girl" and then there's people who just wanna change things up and then there's the closet gays

I made what looks good. IMO Titans don't look great as females. I made a male one. IMO Warlocks look better as a female. Hunters can go either / or. I just made a female because I wanted the awoken female dance, lmao.

The male Hunter model looks stupid. Not at all the thin agile Hunter I would imagine them to be. The female model fits the Hunter profile in my mind. The Warlock models and armor both look good The Titan on the other hand... armor looks [i]terrible[/i] on the female character model.

Titan because the male looked super bulky, my warlock was purely for the exo female dance.

There seems to be more guys with female characters then girls that play the game. I think I'll refer to them as her/she next time I got a fire team.

I built a character, they won't always necessarily reflect who or what I am (I have an exo warlock too). And honestly the male hunter body build looks kinda odd. The cloaks look so much better on a lady.

I let my oldest daughter create my Warlock so it's a girl. My youngest created my Titan so it's a girl. I created my hunter so it's a guy. When I started playing I liked the Titan the most so I play as a female Titan.

I use a female character because it goes with the back story I've made for my character. There's not really any back story for your guardian other than they were brought back from the dead through the Light to defend the City so I made my own.

Made one so I had all races\character options across my characters. -human titan male -awoken warlock male - exo hunter female (and robots don't have gender) Plus that and I think male hunters look retard.
