It's so confusing when someone joins a fireteam with a female character and ends up being a dude (*cue Aerosmith*).
Do they all just want the D? But seriously, can any guys who do this shed some light on.. why?
I feel like someone pulled an Oprah, "You get a female warlock, and YOU get a female warlock! Everyone gets female warlocks!"
Edit: Jesus H. Christopher, I'm curious. I've noticed this quite often since I started playing, and I can't answer this question for myself, so I wanted some insight. inb4more "why do you even caaaaare?!!1!?!?"
Edit again: holy -blam!-, I'm a girl. Hence why I don't have insight to why this happens.
Edit, take three: thanks to everyone who gave a legitimate answer! I appreciate the insight :-)

Edited by reggie: 10/9/2015 11:45:03 PMBecause I want to? Besides, Hunters are ASSASSINS. You ever see a fat assassin? Female frame> Male frame Warlocks can go either way, personally I like the smaller (For me) Female frame> Male frame Titans eh I guess they're supposed to be like some big ass master queef looking dude but I always played the thinner female Spartans in halo so....... (For me) Female frame> Male frame

Because the yells and screams from a male is unpleasant.

I wanted one of each race and the human male character is just plain ugly...
-
I just made one for balance. My hunter and Titan were males so I made my warlock a girl for measure. It's good to have at least one opposite gender (IMO)
-
Why does it matter?
-
male titans are way too friggin bulky and weird lookin

1 ReplyI play a Hunter that looks like Katniss Everdeen. With blue tits. Easy on the eyes.

Many Men Online Role Playing as Girls

I'm a guy my Titan is a guy I made the other two characters girls because well they're not Titans if you catch my drift.

To be honest, for me, it's about variety in my creations. I always try to have one female character in any type of mmo/RPG I play. Why play a game when you don't experience everything? Hence, why I also played a female Shepard in ME series; I want to see every available option in the rpgs I play.
-
Because warlocks where dresses, so my Warlock had to be female
-
Hunters just don't seem to fit as males in my opinion, they look kinda weird

I'm a dude. With three dude characters. Keepin it real

Edited by chamoo81: 10/9/2015 11:18:25 PMHey I have a female warlock. I am a male player. I don't see what the big deal is.

Cause the female Exo dance is badass
-
Because it's the only girls they will get.
-
Because they are some sick little psychos that want to live out their fantasy to be caitlyn jenner.
-
Because I do what I want
-
Because they're sexy
-
Because whoever pays for the game can play it however they like. No explanation required.

Id rather have a character thats attractive to me, not be me. If i have to look at it i want to enjoy it. Whats with women thinking guys playing girls characters is weird?
-
I have no problems playing as a female if i have no option but as i am a dude, i play as a male. I don't get why guys would go out of their way to play as female.
