It's so confusing when someone joins a fireteam with a female character and ends up being a dude (*cue Aerosmith*).
Do they all just want the D? But seriously, can any guys who do this shed some light on.. why?
I feel like someone pulled an Oprah, "You get a female warlock, and YOU get a female warlock! Everyone gets female warlocks!"
Edit: Jesus H. Christopher, I'm curious. I've noticed this quite often since I started playing, and I can't answer this question for myself, so I wanted some insight. inb4more "why do you even caaaaare?!!1!?!?"
Edit again: holy -blam!-, I'm a girl. Hence why I don't have insight to why this happens.
Edit, take three: thanks to everyone who gave a legitimate answer! I appreciate the insight :-)

Because the neckbeards pull it to their female toons
-
They are just the better looking in games.

Edited by SoSorryUDie: 10/10/2015 3:10:32 AMMy only female character is my hunter. I think it's more fitting. Plus I gotta show the ladies some love.
-
3 RepliesHonestly the female body type of the hunter looks better. That's why my hunter Is a female
-
1 ReplyBecause I'm female.
-
1 ReplyI'm pre op transgender..

Yes, when you join a group the average pitch of the voices within the group drops significantly. I have 3 female hunters and everytime I join the voices always deepen until they find out that my hunters have a deeper voice than them :) Sometimes it's the little things that always seem to put a smile on your face.

1 ReplyEdited by Vordenfall: 10/10/2015 3:23:18 AMOld topic, but revived like a sunsinger. I personally play all female characters because I identify as trans. Interestingly enough most of the people that hear my voice don't think I'm as old as I am or that I've deployed twice. Meh, I digress. That's my reasoning.

2 RepliesIt's because you are harder to hit in crucible or whatever because they are thinner

Honestly? Cause chicks rock the armor better. My first titan was male and when my sister took a look at him she said he looked like a douche lol....also the female toons have better options -_-
-
5 RepliesEdited by Kell of Pasta: 10/10/2015 3:10:01 AMI have my characters all male. My Titan (main) is a human male because it just suits it. My Hunter is a Exo male because I always thought of it as a death machine hunter (yeah I'm stupid) My warlock is a awoken male because... Actually, I have no idea why it is. Oh that's right, because if I make it a female, people will call me a horny 12 year old (when I'm 14 and have no intentions of having sex, well not with anyone I know, they are all whores) and my parents might see it too (well it's a slim chance)
-
My titan is male, my hunter and warlock are female
-
"If I'm staring a t characters ass, it better be a good one"
-
All these men below are sad.. Ass ass ass ass.. lol. I wAnt to know too.
-
I have no females but my brother has 1 only to mimic the vanguard gender and race
-
My main is my warlock that's male, I made my hunter and Titan female cause the male versions are way too bulky
-
Opposite attraction
-
1 ReplyIt's as simple as this bud. If this game is gonna be around for years, and I'm gonna play it for years, then every time I head to the tower I'd much rather be looking at a chick's behind than a male.
-
My only female character is a hunter and that's because me and my friend wanted to be hunter bros and we both liked the female of hunters better so that's why
-
Because it's a video game where you can create your own character, and I like the idea of having variety in my avatars. One of each class, one of each species, and both available genders. If I'm going to live hundreds of fictional lives in video games, what's the point of focusing on only your own gender?
-
Because they are sexy
-
1 ReplyCos male titans are to bulky imo
-
Just made my titan an exo female because the dance and sit are taunting in a bubble otherwise human male
