I first want to begin with that the iron banner should be (and was intended to be) the upmost challenge a guardian can take on. This is not the case. Bungie attempted to create a pvp playlist that everyone can enjoy, and if your attempting to create a public event that the elite pvpers should be taking on, not everyone should be able to have fun while doing this. A sub level 28 should get -blam!-ing squashed in this, unless of course, he has the weapons and skill to prove himself. In summary with the first point, there is too small of a level advantage system so their really is no difference between this event and regular crucible. Now onto the rewards. I seriously laugh when people say that we should be getting exotics from this. I don't think that the rewards have to be that prestigious, but they can't be some branded armor (goes for ALL events). The armor that should be rewarded should be some public event legendaries(that could be somewhat branded) but they need to have good perks and it needs to be something guardians have to work hard for.
