How many people have 3 of the same character class?
Just wondering. Thinking about grinding out my 3rd Titan.

A simple fix would be soul bound gear not weapons tho

3 RepliesI made 3 Hunters to increase my chance at loot in VoG.... the only thing it has done is increase my shard/energy/strange coin count to the point where I don't have enough gear to use it all... No additional drops from VoG.... unless you call getting your boots 3 times more gear...

I'm raising a second Hunter, but only until I get my raid gear. 8 raids and no gear. I have to make my own luck.

I really wanted to play as all of the classes, so I didn't do the three of the same characters thing. Luckily, I got all of the normal raid gear for my warlock within three raids.

I guess I'm one of the few who still only have my original release date character. Almost to level 28.

A lot of raiders will create the same 3 characters to give them selves more chances to get the class armor from the raid

However, engrams are random, meaning it could be for any of the three classes... Which can still be shared... Coins can also be vaulted

The only purpose of 3 characters of the same class is to fast track level 30 from raid gear. Nonsense about doing weekly crap is exactly that, nonsense. It'll be that much less appealing making new level 20 classes (and subclasses) later too. You can just as easily do the weekly on 3 different classes because you'll have level 27 off easy vanguard gear within a week. At that point weapons are easily vaulted between toons. I prefer versatility amongst my characters though.

I don't have 3 of the same. 2 locks and a hunter. Hated the titan so now i can double down on stuff during the week.
