what is the best exotic hand cannon?
I'm a hunter searching for the best hand cannon available. Anyone know which is the best?
Edit: Thorn is pretty legit post patch and is my go to handcannon.
I'm on 360 so I can't get Hawkmoom. Will it come to 360 eventually?

Personally i use the hawkmoon becuase of the three lucky rounds. In pvp it is ok but when u accually know how to use it like its the back of ur hand then u can destroy. Ive gotten 3 we ran out of medals with the hawkmoon alone

Hawkmoon is OP, just will be nerfed in TTK. I recommend thorn for pvp, and hawk awesome for pve.

Thorn will get nerfed soon becuase its way too over powerded especially in PVP. [b]Last Word[/b] if you are good at and love to play in Crucible. This gun can be a blast to use and can be very deadly in the right hands. [b]HAWKMOON[/b] Is the all around best hand cannon for both PVE & PVP. The range is great, the 3 bullets in the mag deal brutal damage. There is also faster reload option. The sights make headshots easy and rewarding. I would go with the Hawkmoon (my opinion)

Hawkmoon works best for at least my play style. But I do like thorn... I always try to finish guardians off with a final shot. I feel cheap letting the DoT finish the job...

Thorn poisons enemy hawkmoon has a chance (chance) to pwn and last word has insane recoil and takes up the screen

1 ReplyI'm on 360 too so no hawk moon but honest the exotics hand cannons are not worth the exotic slot in pve In pvp on the other hand they are both pretty op last word requires more skill and Is very rewarding if you have the skill to use it

If you're on 360, then PvE: Thorn PvP: Last Word Get 'em both. Honestly they both have a unique feel to them, so it's whatever you prefer, but by the stats Thorn is better in PvE because you don't need to kill fast and it's better to pace your shots to assure headshots, and Last Word is better in PvP because that requires pumping led and space magic into your enemies as quick as possible.
